> 24 hourI hooked it to P3 10 inch dvc subwoofer. The amp is running 742 watts to the speaker on a 1 ohm resistance. Rockford Fosgate is quality, reliable, and affordable. I always have and always will rate them number one overall. It is an American based corporation. If a person wants to spend money on audio equipment it should be from a name brand that has a history of offering a selection of merchandise that will please any audiophile at a price well worth paying!

> 24 hourI installed this in my c300 2009 Benz. I tapped off the rear sub w/ a line converter into this amp. During their CLEAN install the amp didnt clip on the input full volume.. nore did it clip on the output with the gain all the way up. wild. it kicks hard. I power a 12 P3 punch with it, custom box, absolutely amazing.

> 24 hourI have been a fan of Rockford Phosgate for decades. When it was time to do another install for a new vehicle, choosing RF was easy. Performance is fantastic! It runs the pair of RF 2ohm 600w 12 woofers very well. I am nearing the end of their break-in period and have only had the volume up about 75%. They thump better than I hoped for! The amp itself had some confusing instructions regarding the possibility of clipping, but was able to figure it out. It also came with a CD that is used to dial in the signal. I am quite happy with my purchase :)

The Punch P500X1bd is a mono amplifier capable of producing 500 Watts into a 1-Ohm load.
Due to its dedicated low frequency response, this amplifier is optimized for mid-bass speakers or subwoofers only.
With its super efficient Class-BD circuit topology, the P500X1bd will drop some serious BASS! The stealth top mounted control panel not only provides a sleek finished look to the amp, but it also protects the vital controls.
Our custom heat sink design uses high aluminum mass where it is needed most to maximize heat transfer from the output MOSFETS to the surrounding air, keeping the circuitry cool even under high power and output demand.
