Rocksmith Real Tone USB Audio Cable [Ubisoft], Xbox

I pay for a new cable and I got an opened box and the cable was used. What a disappointment.

Returned it as even thought it was the official cord, it did NOT work with Rocksmith and our Acoustic Electric Guitar - so BE WARNED - MAY ONLY WORK WITH ELECTRIC GUITARS! (We know this because we bought an aftermarket cord and it too would not work with the acoustic guitar and Rocksmith either. Even though our Acoustic Electric Guitar works just fine with Amps. So go figure. I guess it is a game limitation??)

Total waste, worked for about a week and then gradually got fuzzy over the course of 2 months until it was unusable. No excessive wear and tear, stored correctly, treated it as well as Id treat my IRL guitar equipment. Just a cheap, poorly built product. Do not buy.

Works with the game/learning platform with no issues so far.

This not only functions for RockSmith, but for recording guitar on your PC.

First off. Nothing wrong with this product but amazon cant be trusted to ship it properly so many arrive DOA as an unpadded plastic bag provides zero protection for a cable, which if subjected to force may break on the inside and be rendered inoperable. I wouldn’t buy from a seller that’s orders are “fulfilled by amazon.” They have no clue how to ship cables. I had bought this to replace my original cable as I had a mishap with it but it worked great for years. The one I received from amazon does not function.

Reading some of the reviews here, I was misled into believing that a standard 1/4 to USB cable would work. It will not. The workarounds that had previously worked, no longer do so. Even if some are able to, save yourself a lot of aggravation and spend a few extra dollars on this one. After much aggravation, I order this cable, plugged it in, and saw Rocksmith show up in my device manager immediately. Plugged my guitar in and was off to the races.

Awful quality for the price being charged. Buy a knockoff product from another brand for half the price, it is the same thing.

This cable works to get the game to recognize the sound coming from the guitar but you still will have to buy a usb to 3.5mm aux adaptor to send the sound to speakers or an amp or you will still have sound lag.

Order this cable to replace a old cable that stopped working. 1st ordered cable did not work so returned to Amazon. 2nd cable worked just fine. Picked it up at Game Stop cause I needed it ASAP. Over all I have given this product 5 stars even though the 1st cable didnt work. Just shows that Just Because Its New in the Box Doesnt mean its Good. This happens.
