> 3 dayMy folding closet doors go all the way from floor to ceiling, and even with the extender my 52 self comes no where near being able to reach. They do exactly what they are supposed to do otherwise, but Im now having to go the store and diy an extender for the extenders.

Greater than one weekThis is the only thing that kept my toddler out of the closet and safe. We still kept them on all doors and it’s helpful around holidays as they can’t get hidden gifts no matter how hard they try.

12-06-2025Got these for our closet doors. My 18m son hasnt learned to open the accordion doors, so I got these now to keep ahead of his learning haha! They work perfectly. Would work great for our cats too, but they havent tried to get in. Would buy these again!

Greater than one weekNeeded something simple and temporary to keep our cats from opening the closet door and sleeping in the laundry baskets in our new apartment. This does the trick. It overhangs on the inside of the door, too, so if youre trying to prank your spouse by locking them in the closet...this will not let you do so.

> 3 dayI wish wed thought to search for these sooner!! Weve had a folding door to our basement since we moved to our current home, and it has been a constant battle with our cats to keep them from going down there. Weve had a heck of a time blocking the basement from our crawlspace, so the cats would constantly come back upstairs with crickets, spiderwebs, and they could hide there if they didnt feel like getting attention (made it rough taking them to the vet if they got sick). We had to have a stool planted in front of the door for several years to solve the issue. Now, we have a toddler who can MOVE the stool. Uh-oh. Enter this doodad. It is very simple but a perfect solution. No more blocking the way and making it a pain to go in and out -- this can very easily just slide over across the top of the door to allow us quick access from both sides. It is tight enough to prevent the door from opening widely enough that a cat could slip through. Only one side has the hanging attachment, which is something to be wary of. We have an immediate stair dropoff on one side, so thats where we put it, but I can still barely reach and use it on the side without modification (Im 53).

> 3 dayThese fit perfectly on our closet folding doors. They slide right over the doors and also slide very easily into place and or out of the way of the hinge section when you need to gain access. No tools required, nothing to assemble, other than using the extension rod if you want or need it. Made from nice durable polycarbonate that feels like it will hold up. They also include a spacer that might be used on thinner doors. Does exactly what I need it to do.

> 3 dayWe moved into a new house and I was storing the dog food in a closet with bi-fold doors. One of our dogs, who will remain anonymous, figured out how to bump the doors open, pull out the dog food container, open the container, and enjoy. These work great! Simple design. Easy to install on the doors. Easy to move back and forth to lock/unlock. Hardest part is remembering to lock when leaving!
