My 3 year old kept pushing her closet doors shut and pinching her fingers. These clever things have solved that problem and eliminated tears (or at least tears from pinched fingers)

Had trouble with my toddler rummaging through the closet but since I purchased this dad wins and no more play time in closet.

I have multiple cats who love to get into places they are not supposed to. This is stopped them from getting into the utility area where the hotwater heater and such are.

Had to buy this to keep my dogs out of the room. They work wonderful and easy to install. It does exactly what we needed it to do!

So far so good does the job

The piece that comes with the Bifold lock for thinner doors does not snap in place. It is to small (or I should say it is the same size as the base piece) therfore can not snap Because of the price, I gorrilla glued it to the outside of the piece and that worked. I tried using it with out the extra piece, but by wiggling the door continuously my cats were able to move the piece over and open the door. If it wouldnt have been for that one flaw this is a good product

We got these to close off guest room closet doors with bi-fold doors, for our visit from our grandsons, aged 2 and 4. These door locks come 2 in a package, and are comprised of a clear plastic u-shaped piece that slips over the top of the doors. You slip it over one side of the bi-fold door when the door is opened, and then close the doors, and slide the plastic piece to the center of the doors. Beware! You have to remember that you put these on! I have tried to open the doors myself when they were locked, and they will not open, and they tend to jam closed. Just remember to reach up and slide the device to the side before you try to open your doors. They are clear plastic, so they are attractive and unobtrusive. They come with an extra piece of plastic, if your doors are very thin, but our doors were not thin, so we didnt use the extra piece. They also come with a handle, if you cant reach to the top of your doors, but I am 5 7 and am tall enough to reach the top of our doors, so we didnt use the handle, either. These are simple, easy to use, and very effective. They look exactly like the photo on Amazon. Just remember you have them when you want something in a locked closet!

These are wonderful, and will keep my grandson from squishing his fingers in the doors. He loves to open and close doors and now I don’t have to worry about these. They are easy to use, and just slide out of the way when I don’t need them.

This is just what we needed to keep our 20 month old grandson out of the pantry. It was easy to install and easy to use.

I wish wed thought to search for these sooner!! Weve had a folding door to our basement since we moved to our current home, and it has been a constant battle with our cats to keep them from going down there. Weve had a heck of a time blocking the basement from our crawlspace, so the cats would constantly come back upstairs with crickets, spiderwebs, and they could hide there if they didnt feel like getting attention (made it rough taking them to the vet if they got sick). We had to have a stool planted in front of the door for several years to solve the issue. Now, we have a toddler who can MOVE the stool. Uh-oh. Enter this doodad. It is very simple but a perfect solution. No more blocking the way and making it a pain to go in and out -- this can very easily just slide over across the top of the door to allow us quick access from both sides. It is tight enough to prevent the door from opening widely enough that a cat could slip through. Only one side has the hanging attachment, which is something to be wary of. We have an immediate stair dropoff on one side, so thats where we put it, but I can still barely reach and use it on the side without modification (Im 53).
