I got this for a Samsung laptop i purchased. Contrary to the advice i got from the customer support person on the Samsung website for a laptop I purchased (and later returned) the RAM is soldered onto the motherboard therefore this module is unusable. Shame on you Samsung (a) for your deceptive practices and (b) for not making your laptop RAM user upgradable.

My 8th gen Intel NUC officially supports two single channel of 16gb, but I was able to use this 32gb mem stick on it.

Buenas, intente comunicarme para informar que el articulo que compre aparece entregado, no se como hacer el reclamo o por que medio, agradezco que por favor me den una respuesta pronta ya que solicite la compra prime por lo mismo, hice una devolución para ver si así podía hacerles saber de esto, pero creo que no funciona con devolución del producto porque a lo que me refiero es que no me ha llegado y aparece entregado, quedo atento. muchas gracias.

Awesome RAM

These DIMMs do work in the new Mac Mini 2018 (i7/1TB SSD/eGPU), but upon initial installation I only had (1) 32GB DIMM show up on Catalina. I went ahead and dismantled the Mac Mini again and swapped DIMMs only to see that once again, only (1) module showed up. Third time I placed (1) 32GB DIMM and the 4GB DIMM that came with the model. I took off the rubber slip guards this time that come with the Mac Mini. This SHOULD NOT affect heat issues. Memory should up as (1) 32GB and (1) 4GB. It appears the rubber guards were placed for shipping and portability reasons. If your Mac Mini is meant to sit on a shelf, in my case, a music studio, you will be okay. Heat issues should be a non issue in this case. Final attempt was reinstalling the (2) 32GB DIMMs and all 64GB showed up. For those with issues with the Mac Mini 2018 model, I hope this review helps you. Cheers!

As the title says, works just fine with Mac Mini late 2018, but a few words for the wise...

Works fine out of the box!

I bought this memory in May of 2020. In February 2021 it failed. I called Samsung because their memory modules have a lifetime warranty and was informed that this module is an OEM unit and does not have the lifetime warranty. Nowhere in the Amazon listing was it disclosed that this was an OEM module. When I contacted Amazon customer service the Amazon representative and a supervisor both acted like they were doing me a favor by processing a return and only charging me a $20 restocking fee. How ridiculous. A restocking fee on a product that was falsely advertised. Eventually, another representative did make the necessary adjustment to process a full refund but I will never buy another product without shopping elsewhere first.

Great upgrade for my laptop, easy to install.
