Incredible performance! Added new life to my aging PC of over seven eight years and counting. Setup for format is not straight forward, but can be done in windows 10 with no additional software to format. Guess this was done to add linux support since windows and linux use different file formats. Just wish samsung would help guide users better then running into websites that try and sell you software and give you a data scraper under the name of free software. Oh well. Otherwise, One of the second best investments that has been made for aging PC equipment.

Excellent ssd!

This drive is fast for the money. It will bring new life into old computers and works great if you backup data as its can handle decent speeds when connected through a usb 3.0 sata adapter. Obviously go with the EVOs if you want faster and better warranty, but this is great for your average user.

Doubled the storage capacity for my PS4 and greater loading speed. I have 118 games on my PS4 since I replaced my 2GB Seagate drive. Expensive for what I did with it, cost as much as the console I put it in.
