Ich habe die Externe HDD nur gekauft weil diese günstiger war als eine interne. Wenn der Preis identisch ist würde ich immer zur Internen greifen. Die USB Hub Funktion würde ich maximal zum Laden oder Anzeigen von Dateien verwenden. Für Kopiervorgänge ist diese viel zu langsam. Damit eine nette Idee aber leider kaum zu gebrauchen. Wer die HDD wegen den USB Anschlüssen kauft, wird eher enttäuscht sein. Maximal zum Laden vom Smartphone oder Anzeige von Musik,Bilder u.s.w. Kopieren funktioniert aber sehr langsam. Geschwindigkeiten erreicht die HDD zwischen 280KB/s bis 120 MB/s im Windows 10. Meistens bewegt sich aber die Geschwindigkeit zwischen 3-38MB. Im Mittel ca. 15MB/sek. Wem es um Geschwindigkeit geht sollte lieber zur SSD greifen. Mehr als 8 TB würde ich extern gar nicht mehr kaufen, weil die Geschwindigkeit von 20MB/s bei über 8 TB so langsam an seine Grenzen kommt. Eine 2,9 TB Sicherung dauerte 24 Stunden.

Viel Platz mit 4 TB, optisch passend zur Konsole, leise, wird sofort erkannt, plus 2 Monate Ultimate. Aber leider leider kann man manche Titel nicht rüberschieben. Z.B. Forza Horizon, Halo, GTA 5, Far Cry 5 und 6, Cyber Punk, Flight Simulator etc. etc. Benötigen alle den schnelleren internen Speicher. Wenn der aber wie bei der Series s zu klein ist und es ihn nicht größer gibt...traurig das man nicht gleich Konsolen mit zeitgemäßem Speicher verkauft.

I was looking for a backup drive for my photos and videos I create and this drive is perfect for its price. After formatting on my Mac mini it shows exactly: 8,001,293,385,728 Bytes. Speeds (BlackMagic speed test) Read 176MBps and Write 175MBps - not too bad for a backup drive at this price and capacity.

Seagate is a very reliable product so when I needed an external hard drive for my Xbox One X I decided to go for the game pass Xbox version as its meant to be plug and play. the delivery service was very quick and when it arrived it was simple to install as it described all you need to do is plug and play, the reason for the overall 4 stars after only 1 week it decided to stop working and one of my games just wouldnt load. I decided to reinstall back onto my console and the game worked fine this is why I knew it was the external drive, I took out the extra insurance as I always do, but speaking with amazon they provided me with a replacement no problems and my insurance is still active and not been used, this one I have is working fine and no problems, just being careful that sometimes the external hard drive can stop working and you may need to get a replacement, hopefully, this one works longer as they actual storage is great.

Small and usb powered it works fine with Xbox series S. At first he machine did not recognize it so unplugged the unit from the Xbox and with the Xbox powered up reconnected to the front port. it then was picked up and had to be formatted. 2 minutes and faultless since then. Now plugged in to the back of the Xbox. Game pass games seem to run fine from it so far. looking forward to trying to fill this baby up.

Originally bought this 8TB Gamedrive Hub as an external expansion drive for my PS4. The Q&A responses appear to state that it CAN be used, however be aware you most definitely CANNOT use this with a PS4 (I think the answers relate to different capacity drives). After a bit of digging, this appears to be down to the 8TB product also being a Hub. Decided to keep this anyway and use it with my Xbox One. Good value for the capacity and very easy to use. Just plug it in and add it as an extended storage device via the on screen prompts. Looks good and very quiet. The two extra USB ports at the front are a nice touch allowing easy access for adding other peripherals etc. All in all, happy with the purchase.

Not compatible with the new Xbox X series. I read reviews before I purchased and thought it would be.

Marche parfaitement sur UN PC windows avec un bon débit, je ne lutilise pas sur une Xbox. Les deux prises frontales sont parfaite et permettent de chainer dautres disques durs, cest très pratique. Le disque dedans est un Sata 3.5 et peut être enlevé.

Ich betreibe neben dieser noch eine Maxtor D3 3TB externe Festplatte an meiner XBOX One X. Da hier aber der Speicher langsam knapp wurde, musste eine weitere Festplatte her. Wie bei externen 3,5 Zoll Festplatten üblich wird eine Steckdose für die Stromversorgung benötigt. Von den 8 TB sind rund 7,2 TB nutzbar. Da ich das aber auch von meinen anderen externen Festplatten kenne, das ca. 10 % des angegebenen Speichers nicht nutzbar sind, ist das für mich kein Problem. Wer seit Beginn von XBOX Live dabei ist und Dienste nutzt wie EA Access und / oder MS Gamepass kommt um eine große Festplatte nicht drum herum. Sie sieht klasse aus und tut was sie soll. Die beiden USB-Anschlüsse an der Front sind ebenfalls sehr nützlich, um Controller oder auch mal das Smartphone während des Spielens zu laden :) Ich habe sie für 169 € in einem Sale hier auf Amazon erstanden und bin sehr zufrieden mit Preis und Leistung! Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.

I have nothing bad to say about the storage unit, I bought it for the sole purpose of having additional storage space for my Xbox One, You run out of room very quickly with the standard 1Tb of storage, we are looking at max 20 games, then the constant updates and all games have to be stored to HD, so for me, the unit is fantastic and I would recommend. Mot cheap, but it is Xbox one, and I bought it for the reasurance that it would work with no issues.
