> 3 dayWell, the old saying is coming in blaring bold letters (KEEP YOUR ENEMIES CLOSE AND YOUR FRIENDS CLOSER) because they just might stab you unexpectantly. Shayla has just endured the HELL that her husband and so-called best friend placed at her doorstep. Jealousy is an ugly color on anyone but especially the ones that you hold near and dear to your heart. Read this eye opener and beware.

> 3 dayThis book definitely reminds you to keep your business to yourself. Sad that the ones you think you can trust are the ones that secretly hate on you and want to be you. This was my first time reading anything by this author and I enjoyed it. Its pretty fast paced so it doesnt linger to the point you become bored. Granted there was one character that did somewhat bore me, but thats because the other 3 characters storyline was more interesting to me and I wanted to know how it turned out. I see its titled Volume 1. Not sure how it can be dragged out into another story, but Im willing to check it out if there is a Volume 2.

> 3 dayYessssssz this book is so good, didnt want to put it down. As an author she did an amazing job of describing the characters, allowing you to see them crystal clear. The way each character told their own story..... This book is worth the 5stars

> 3 dayafter drying my eyes, i can now write a review...i understood this book on a more personal level b/c i am also a kept woman...its sad that people can always claim what theyll do when in certain situations...but the truth of the matter is you never know until youre in those shoes...i know its just a book but these are real life issues that some women go through...instead of judging, lend an ear or send up a prayer for that persons strength... and no i am not family nor friend of the author but i enjoyed this book...i really appreciate the fact that shayla took the high road...sometimes we have to pick and choose our battles wisely...definitely looking forward to this authors next book
