Ive got Kipling bags dating back to the 90s (yeah Im old). I was excited to get this one, but it ended up falling short in quality. The straps had horrible stitching on both of them like the machine jammed and it had tons of threads hanging (long ones). The zippers seems more plastic than previous generations and when I asked Kipling about the longevity of the rainbow colors on the zipper, I was told that it was paint and it would wear off with use. Hmmmph. I had a section where it was stitched with white instead of black, like they just ran out for 3 stitches worth. Its proven to be nearly impossible to get it exchanged from Kipling, even though it was sold and shipped through them, so ultimately I may have to just return it. Oh and comparing the straps to my older Kipling, the straps are almost subpar to a Target level backpack. Really sad for this price point.

This is a very pretty backpack for women. I love Kipling for their lights weight but sturdy construction. I had an over the shoulder bag which is great too. Been having some neck issues so decided to try a backpack and I love it. I carry a laptop everyday from work to home plus riding a bus and it works wonderful. Like that it leaves your hands free plus it has useful pockets. The zipper is two part for easy access and good pockets for umbrella and water bottle. Works well with carrying my Kipling purse too plus you get the little monkey keyfob. Got a compliment on it the first day too.

Having kids means we dont travel light, but weve found this bag is just the right size to carry snacks, change of clothes, tissues and all the other little things we need. Its comfortable and the bright red color makes it easy to find in a sea of grey and black packs.

This is just perfect for my 15.6 laptop and its so beautiful and comfortable.
