Siglent Technologies SDS1202X-E 200 mhz Digital Oscilloscope 2 Channels, Grey

This device had more abilities and functions than I imagined. It did exactly what I wanted it to do but is capable of so much more. I am still learning all of its functions. A great piece of equipment.

The other reviews mention many great features ranging from the 1GSPS, 200MHz bandwidth, FFT, and range V/div starting at 0.5mV. So i wont repeat these for the Siglent SDS1202X-E that I purchase on July 31, 2021. This is an excellent scope for the price. Dont let people mislead you into thinking that its only for beginners (its not) but certainly beginners will be able to use it. Compared with my HP54111d from the 1990s costing $20k when new and having 500MHz Bandwidth and 2Gsps, the little Siglent does far more and better for far less price (but only 1Gsps and 200MHz bandwidth).

Their was no shipment bill of materials included with the scope. List of items etc to check the shipment. Their was no warranty card or warranty information with the shipment. There was no manual other than a quick start manual. I had to go score their site for software to interface their unit. It seems like a good scope but the shipment lacks the basics.

All the features on this item met my expectations just like the reviews Ive read here on Amazon. I had also observed some videos on YouTube as well before I decided to purchase the Siglent SDS1202X-E. The only reason why I didnt give this a five star rating is that Im having issues downloading the virtual software. Hopefully its an operator error! Overall, I must say that Im thoroughly content and satisfied as a hobbyist❗

Unable to connect this Siglent SDS 1202X-E to any computer interface USB or IP. Have installed EasyScopeX Odd name considering its impossible to use. The device manager shows the scope but there is NOT a driver on the Siglent website to install. Also tried the IP interface to a browser- able to set an IP address static or DHCP and ping the scope but neither EasyScopeX nor a browser will connect with the oscilloscope. Very disappointing considering the other features and build are decent.

Ive always had an older 20MHz oscilloscope, and I had to upgrade. This was a great choice. I really is easy to set up and operate. First use was troubleshooting an audio amp circuit, and it worked as expected. I love these new slim scopes that fit nicely on the bench! Definitely recommend!

I generally prefer a good easy to use analog scope over digital, but for the money I will have both in my lab. There are some things you cannot do with analog, like capture a single or low duty factor signal. Recalling and comparing wave forms is much superior on a DSO as well as advanced triggering and decoding of serial ports. This scope is definitely a winner, especially for the price and 200 Mhz input bandwidth .

Excellent scope. I am barely taking advantage of the features and am very impressed. The manual is a bit sparse, but heck, I figured out how to look at 115 KBS serial data signal and a few static levels.
