> 3 daybought the 2x8gb DR3L and one of them burned out already. I say already because its been a year and I do not use the laptop frequently as it is not my primary laptop and when I do use it its just for looking up stored data or watching movies. Installed on an HP ENVY.

Greater than one weekI put these into an MacBook Pro MD102LL_A, 13-inch, Mid 2012 MacBookPro9,2, in order to upgrade it. These SODIMM work excellently and have accomplished exactly what I wanted.

Greater than one weekI used them to replace the old ones (not the original) which failed for some reason, causing the PC to freeze, reboot, or shut down randomly. I know it was the memory modules because I changed them with the originals (4GB X 2) and the PC worked fine. So far so good, lets see how long this set lasts. But to be clear, the set that failed was NOT Silicon Power.
