> 3 dayMy 2012 MacBook Pro 15 had been getting by on 8gigs of RAM for sometime without issue. I wanted to add more to see if I could get a few more years out of the laptop. Very easy to install, 10 minutes tops. I noticed a speed improvement along with more stability. This was a good inexpensive upgrade and the RAM has been running without any problems for the last month since installation.

After installing it, the system only recognized 8gigs. I again opened up the back and reinstalled the modules. It started showing me 16gigs. So it was my fault. I would recon this product.

Greater than one weekI bought the kit for a great price during a Lightning Deal. Works great on the Synology DS918+ that I bought during Prime Day(s), even though the NAS originally came with slightly faster DDR3L 1866Mhz RAM. No system crashes since installation.
