> 3 daySome years ago I took a creaky old sewing machine to a repairman for a good cleaning and adjustment. He told me that modern machine oils dont gum up with age the way old ones did. Im hoping that this oil is the modern kind. Since its from Singer, I guess theres a good chance it is. Time will tell, I guess.

> 3 dayIve used up many tiny oil tubes and lost many as well. This is a good price for oil that I have already used to oil my mothers Singer 401a sewing maching, and hope to use for clippers, air tools and many other things in the future.

> 3 dayI was fortunate enough to find a very old brother sewing machine for free, but it needed a good cleaning and some oil. This oil is nice and thin so it can get into all the little spots it needs to. The applicator tip is a little hard to flip up, but with a pair of sewing scissors always near my machine I am able to use those so its not a big deal. I do think that the oil comes out a little faster than I would like it to, but it keeps that machine working well.

> 3 dayI had a bottle of this oil somewhere and could not find it so made the purchase. I use it mainly on my archery equipment like the target sight that has very fine threaded components, where you dont want something heavier like the old 3-in-1 oil that might pick up dust and/or smell...well, like oil. This oil is thin and pretty much odorless. Aside from the reason I purchased it, it is a good general purpose, albeit light, oil to have around for lubricating fine machinery type components where you dont want dust to collect. I suppose you could use it on sewing machines too. In my opinion its one of the best in its class. Plus I like the dispensing bottle it comes in. It does not leak all over the place if you say keep it on its side in a toolbox like I do.

> 3 dayThis little bottle has been great for oiling old fans. Ive used a little bit on 2 ceiling fans to help reduce some squeaks. We have a bedside fan that started squeaking. It was a little harder to oil, but with a straw that had both ends cut at an angle I was able to put a few drops on the fan motor and reduce the noise. While I had a game console disassembled recently I put 2 drops in the CPU fan since I was already performing maintenance. Im not sure how it will hold up over the long term, but it has been a few months with the ceiling fans running 24/7 and they are still squeak-free.
