> 3 dayThis oil is exactly what we needed to restore a 1911 singer cobblers machine that was gunked up after 30 years sitting in a shop. We carefully cleaned all the mechanisms with wd-40, wiped it all off, and oiled with this. The machine works as well as high end leather sewing machines sold today.

> 3 dayIn this day and age with gas prices it is cheaper by far in time and money to find these here and have them delivered if you have prime. I do and I ordered it to save me about 2 gallons of gas going to buy one fairly locally. The oil arrived sealed and in good shape. I used it on the bits inside a Singer 301a I had just bought and wouldnt work. After oiling and moving the gears around by hand, the gears all broke free and the machine purrs like a kitten. I still need to get some gear grease but at least now I know the machine runs. I dont know a thing about oil except its greasy so all I can say is, this worked for what I needed it to do and Im happy with the purchase. I will probably never have to buy oil like this again, so the little bottle will be on the shelf waiting for the next time I need it.

Greater than one weekI used my machine so much that the bobbin case broke and I use this every couple of times I use my machine. I use it after big projects as well. Definitely saves me from more broken parts.

> 3 dayIve been using Singer Machine oil for decades. Good on Singer for not cheaping out and reformulating it over the years to cut costs -- this is the same stuff weve all grown to know and love. I often use it to lube my Braun and Panasonic electric shavers among other things. I also use a touch of it on the screen and blades to help reduce wear on both components. Unlike some lubricants, it wont gum up after a while. For cleaning gummed up machine parts, removing rust, and cleaning, WD-40 cant be beat, but for lubricating, I prefer Singer over WD-40. Singer is safe to use on even delicate equipment like cameras. If youre using it for delicate machine parts like those in cameras, use it VERY SPARINGLY! Use a pin or paperclip to apply the oil indirectly for controlling precisely how much of it you use. I have absolutely no problem using it for my vintage cameras over the years. If you need something for lubricating machine parts, try the time-tested Singer oil.

Greater than one weekThe oil is good, especially for the price. However, the container is terrible. It need a applicator straw of some kind to dispense oil in small holes. Also, the cap is not removable(can do with force and breaking it) allowing you to put a cap with a straw. What good is the oil if it cant be applied properly. Every other competitor has some kind of applicator unless its a giant refill bottle. Hence the rating.

> 3 dayWould be much better if it were in a bottle like the older one with a long pointed spout. The little short spout does not reach into the machine to get the oil where needed. I had to order a separate bottle that would get the oil to the spots that need it.
