I just received the blanket yesterday so I am unable to rate the easy to clean or the durability but I did want to drop in to tell you....MY DOG LOOOOOOOVES this blanket....he puts his nose in it and goes to sleep...and soft??? OMG its softer than cotton balls....my little guy / 16 yr old maltese / is in HEAVEN....and he certainly lets me know if he encounters something he is not happy with. What a wonderful choice Mom made :) I will come back and add a review for the cleaning/durability when we get there...thank you for a wonderful product.

Ive used these blankets for many years for my puppies and dogs. They are beautiful, hold up well in the wash, and still look good after a few years. I have some that are old and still look new with little wear. No fading or seams falling apart. Good blankets for the money.

Let me start by saying that I did not order this blanket for a dog. I have a one and a half year-old daughter who is obsessed with dogs and the options available for cute blankets with dogs on them for kids were sorely lacking. I knew when ordering this item that it might not work as a blanket for a child, but ordered it anyway because I could not resist the perfect design. Cute little dogs with pink hearts? It was exactly what I was looking for, and so much better than everything else I looked at. So I took a chance and ordered it. This blanket is adorable and very soft, which is what I was hoping for when I ordered it and why I am giving it a 4 star review. However, I am a person who does not have time to hang dry or otherwise specially wash an item like a blanket. I need to be able to wash on a regular cycle and dry normally. This blanket had a strong chemical odor right out of the box and had to be washed before use. I did wash it on delicate cycle, but still dried it because its the middle of winter and I dont many other options. When it came out of the dryer there was lint all over it that would not come off. I was a bit disappointed with that. Im not sure how well it will tolerate repeated washings. Also, the blanket is an odd shape. It is rectangular, long and narrow like a towel. If youre only using it to cover furniture, I suppose thats fine, but obviously its a bit awkward for my daughter, and I imagine it might be awkward for larger dogs. Regardless of all of that, she absolutely loves it. Its become part of her special group of favorite things that she totes with her all over the house. If the blanket was ever offered in a larger, more human-friendly size and shape I would order it for her in a heartbeat.
