> 3 dayVery nice quality tinned copper wire manufactured for solar panel installation. It used to be very hard to find this length of high quality wire. Its nice to see that its finally available without buying a 1000 ft. spool (which I have done many times in the past). Great quality and great buying options.

Greater than one weekWe have a south-facing roof, so Im beginning to acquire the items I need to set up my own DIY solar setup. Im starting with running a cable into the house through a gland that I can hook my camping-style foldable 60w and 100w solar panels through to my solar power station inside the house, but the plan is to learn as I go and eventually put some 100w fixed panels on the roof. This wire is plenty long to allow me to position those panels wherever works best and still allow me to run the wire through the gland Im installing. It helps makes things less bewildering and allows for any positioning mistakes I might make.

> 3 dayI like this cable, it has all specifications I needed to use with my solar panel system. It uses tinned stranded copper wire which is less prone to corrosion. UV protected to prevent sunlight from Damaging the insulation (making it get brittle/crack) Being stranded it is very Flexible,, 10 gauge allows it handle plenty of current up to 30 Amps.. It has two layers of insulation and is rated at 1500v, so no worries of it shorting out when gets wet… Two colors red for positive and Black for negative.. I measured low resistance, and negligible voltage drop.

> 3 dayThis is a review of RAKDSYMC Solar Panel Wire - 60FT 10AWG (6mm²) Solar Extension Cable, Tinned Copper Wire. I received the advertised length (60 feet) and gauge (10AWG). Overall this is a good quality length of wire. The insulating jacket is double-layered. Its stiffer and a bit less flexible than similar wire I have used in the past. I plan to use this for a 12VDC project involving fixed wiring runs in a protected location and with fairly low current, so the insulation is fine for my application. This is advertised as fully tinned wire, but its definitely different from the typical Ancor-brand marine grade wire and cable I usually choose. Other than that, I think its a good product, at a reasonable price.

Greater than one weekUgh I don’t like it either how fast the cost of stranded wire keeps climbing. This arrived coiled up in a clear plastic bag. It’s quite heavy considering the small amount I ordered (30ft). It’s only 10 AWG so I didn’t have to use my hydraulic crimping. You definitely want cable like this for high-amp projects.

> 3 day2 Conductor, 10AWG / red & black jacket, side by side in one cable. + Easy to strip, solder, or crimp + Each strand is tinned...much easier to solder + flexible...a 6 radius is doable + 60 is good for more than one project

> 3 dayExactly as I was hoping for, very high quality copper wire. Probably overkill for most solar setups but go big or go home, right? Low resistance (that’s a very good thing) double insulated wire. What’s not to like?

> 3 dayThis is very good electrical wire, pre-tinned and useful for any project, I used this to build a wiring harness for LED bar light and light pods and it worked great.
