Husband loves these! Hes not one for remembering to take pills and he takes this one EVERY DAY. Pill is large and a bit uncomfortable to swallow but he said he likes the energy they provide

This Multivitamin indeed deserves a great review. In the past I have tried mega-men, opti-men and various other run of the mill vitamins that lost their quality over time and hence they lost my patronage. These days you hardly find a great QUALITY Multi (specially for Men) that is worth its salt so to speak. SOLGAR has kept its quality standards stable across time and that is why I love their products. This Male Multiple is a great example of that. I highly recommend it to all Men out there who would not compromise on quality. I decided to try Solgars Male Multiple vitamin for several reasons: I was familiar with their brand from ten years ago and I knew that its high quality; I didnt think that my current multi (famous OTC brand )was cutting it; I wanted a multi with no iron; I wanted a multi that wasnt the size of a horse pill, and, finally, I wanted a multi with SMALL amounts of ginseng and other energy-enhancing ingredients. On that last count, I think I got what I wanted, although at 25 mg the formula might seem too tepid for some. Using Solgars Male Multiple (2 tablets/day, not the 3 that the bottle recommends [see below for why]). I do feel an increase in overall energy, but I have questions that make me think that my search for the best multi for me may not yet over. I suspect that the initial boost I get from this vitamin is due to its generous supply of vitamin B-12 (500 mcg, or 8333% DV). There are also generous amounts of vitamin E (400 IU), zinc (50 mg), and C (400 mg). Magnesium and selenium are also generously supplied. Its at this point, though, that the ingredients list gets fuzzy for me and where someone who knows more about nutrition may be able to assist. It provides chromium, but not chromium picolinate, which my previous multi had and I believe has been implicated in weight loss. The chromium provided here is chromium nicotinoglycinate. Not sure why Solgar doesnt use the picolinate form. Heres the list of ingredients for the vitality part of the multi: Eleuthro extract, 25 mg Standardized American ginseng root, 25 mg Standardized Korean ginseng (panax), 25 mg Saw palmetto, 25 mg Stinging nettles extract, 25 mg Pygeum extract, 25 mg I should mention that when I was younger I tried ginseng but quit it, because at the end of the day I had leftover energy and trouble getting to sleep. Heres the kicker: even in the <25 mg range (I take only 2 tablets), at bedtime I feel my heart pounding, not badly but noticeably. These tablets are dark green and are not the size of horse pills. Theyre coated and go down easily with a sip of water. A final note: I considered other male multiples with energy-enhancing ingredients, but I decided on this brand because I really dont know about additives like damiana, etc.

These pills are very large and hard to swallow even with a lot of water and they recommend taking qty (3) at a time. There is a weird smell and taste from them also. Don’t think I will order again.

I am editing this review. Below is part of my previous one. In the images, left to right, is a dollar one-cent coin, a Truvada pill (white), an Amazon Vitamin C pill (yellowish), and a Solgar Male Multiple one (Dark green). These pills are OUTRAGEOUSLY big. There is not one single day that I can have the 3 pills without issues. I am not a small person (61) and I take other big pills daily (as Truvada as PreP) and took other vitamins (like CVS ones). I never had problems taking big pills. These are a whole new level! Every day I fill a 24oz glass (!!) with water, I stand-up, and initiate my 3 pills journey. Yet, every single day at least one pill gets stuck in my mouth or throat. I throw more and more water in, sometimes it moves on, many times it does not and stays for several seconds stuck in my throat. Sometimes the 24 oz is not enough water! I literally regurgitated them several times. I tried to humidify them with my tongue, I tried to place them in different places and positions in my mouth, etc. But there is not really a technique that works effectively. They are rounded etc but still, FAT, almost double of the size of any pill I saw. Moreover, they are coated in a green substance -- I guess it is there to facilitate ingestion (?) -- but when pills get stuck and have to be regurgitated, makes the mess even bigger... If this product stays this size, I will definitely not buy it again and can not recommend them to anyone. Results-wise (as written in my previous review): I feel very well in the last few days, with more energy, alertness. Better. I had been eating poorly and under much stress. This definitely is helping me. And, I simply do not trust any other brand, their promises, and marketing. If you compare the ingredients Solgar is always better, and more balanced, especially in the right ingredients (zinc for example).

Im 60 years old and in pretty good shape but, at that age you will notice that youre just not what you used to be. Whether its mental clarity, energy, vibrancy and or sexually. Just received Male Multiples 4 days ago and have been taking them for those 4 days. Yes, I feel better, clear minded and vibrant. Thats all nice and good but cmon guys... you want to feel like you did when you were a younger guy.. 18, 20, 25 years old. I feel 20 years old again ! And Im talking sexually. No doubt at 60 years old there is some kind a decline in your circulatory system. I noticed it myself. So.... long story short on day # 4 WOW!... Big Surprise ! I experienced a strong erection and had very good sex with my wife. I was feeling and enjoying sensations I havent felt in years. Fantastic.. and the climax was also exceptionally good. It was like I was 20 years old again... my wife went to work and an hour later another strong erection! Wow I could definitely tell the difference from last week..and the the sensations I was feeling once again during sex are very satisfying. I feel 20 years old again !

Good multi, it’s more concentrated than most I usually take 1 or 2 pills right before bed. I seem to have pretty good energy and feel good throughout the day. If I ever feel a little run down I take a full dose. If your shopping around for a good multi give this one a try. And yes it’s a good idea to take supplements, food these days does not contain the nutrients that you need the soil has been depleted from over farming.

I had an appendectomy and my bowel movements have not been as regular as they use to be. Since Ive been taking this male multiple it has returned to normal. When my first bottle ran out I switched to another cheaper multiple that only required one a day and I lost that regularity again. Started up again with a second bottle of this Solgar Male Multiple and Im back to being regular again. Ahhhhhh - Its not easy getting old : ) Im not a doctor, this is only my opinion/experience, take it with a grain of salt.

I read a few of the reviews about this product and I thought possibly they were overstating it maybe they are a sensitive kind, difficulty swallowing sensitive smell you know the drill, well I got them and I’ve had them for about a week and I have to admit the smell is beyond anything I’ve smelt before in medicine it’s almost like you’re swallowing something it comes out the other end it’s really difficult and it’s about the same size. it was hard to get down in fact I had to cut it in thirds and I just tried swallowing three pieces just now I got two of them down but the third didn’t make it. I believe I’m gonna put these on the shelf for a while and reevaluate do I really want to feel this bad taking something that is supposed to be that good for me.

The pills are NOT too big, they DO NOT smell horrible, they DO NOT taste funny! I take these simultaneously with a multi-min, B-complex, Folate, D3, and, sometimes, a Solgar 7. Wouldnt recommend for addressing deficiencies, just for maintenance! If youre too childish for adult-vitamins, try Flintstones chewables.
