> 3 dayOriginal: The assembly instructions are god awful. Fine to use I suppose, but the assembly alone makes me hate this. Just get the plastic one, I hear its better Updated: My initial review above was an overreaction to the frustration of assembling the product. Assembly really isnt that bad but the instructions are just so poorly done (quite simple to put together in hindsight that Im shocked its not more clear in the manual). However after using the product for a few days now I am pleased with the purchase. Thanks

> 3 dayI read the reviews that talk about how shaky the unit is, but I suspect its because the screws either didnt go in all the way or on an angle. This was my solution: Youll need a pair of plyers that are comfortable to hold (i.e. padded handle) and either a padded mallet or a thick cloth. First off with the allen wrench that comes with it and the plyers to turn it, screw one of the screws into each hole about 2/3 of the way down. It will be very tight so do it slowly and then slowly unscrew it. This will open up the very tight. Once youve done this with each hole, then follow the instruction and attached each side. Once its assembled, press the screw covers over each screw head. If they dont fit tightly, then either use a soft mallet to gently pound it into place, or the end of the padded plyers or put cloth over the each one and gently use a small hammer to press it down.

> 3 dayI have toyed with getting one of these for a long time and when I saw the bamboo rather than the rigid plastic I went for it. Great choice. I am short so it is a little awkward, but has already made a difference after 2 movements. 8-)

> 3 dayIm not sure why the negative reviews. Some are not measuring correctly at the high point its got an angle. Its extremely comfortable and not in the way when stored. I was skeptical at first but I suffer from stomach issues and this has helped extremely well. I highly recommend since its easy to flip for a taller person or a higher toilet. Love the two sizes and it looks great. Make sure you put the side pieces on facing the correct way they have tabs on the bottom for no skid. I love. It. Wish I bought one sooner.

> 3 dayIt works fine and even if its a placebo its fine. Style is good and not too complicated to assemble. Its 4 pieces but the long pieces are difficult to differentiate between

> 3 dayI love this product! I put it together with an impact driver while I held the pieces in place. This allowed for the proper fit and tightened to the perfect level. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that the caps to cover the screws wont stay put on all screws. I realized this was due to the drill hole depth on the wood pieces. If the depth is too low it will not hold.

> 3 dayA friend got a squatty potty and hyped it up to me for a long time before I finally ordered one. I should’ve never waited so long!! It’s wild how much of a difference it makes. Highly recommend. Takes up less space than you’d think bc you can push it back against the toilet when not in use. Only complaint is it was a bit of a pain to put together.

Greater than one weekI didn’t realize until I received the item that this is a genuine, squatty potty item. I love that, once assembled, which was easy to do by the way, the device fits completely underneath the toilet, so it doesn’t stick out really at all. And it definitely does its “job “! There are also two different heights, depending on how extreme of a squat you would like to achieve. My kids also use it as a stepstool so bonus there!

> 3 dayI think this wood one looks nicer than the original plastic versions. Plus the fact that you can flip for either a tall toilet or a standard is very useful, as we have both in our home. Easy to assemble, took about 10 minutes by myself using just the allen wrench included. They give you an extra screw, cap and non-slip foot, so that is nice just in case. The caps dont stay in well, but a little dab of white glue took care of that. And the most important part, yes, it is comfortable and helps with the number 2.
