They do wear out, get gunked up with junk from construction sites, get lost, etc. She prefers Stanley, so were loyal customers. It does seem like quality control isnt what it used to be. The last set we bought, I had to tighten the screws holding the plastic casing together, as they were loose. Someone was napping that day, I guess.

> 3 dayYoure already buying these form a Scalper that probably bought these at HD or Cost co for $20. These particular Fat Max tapes dont last that long. The blade on the first tape got twisted in no time, and the blade on the 2nd tape rusted in no time and after that it was impossible to read. I ended up making 3 mistakes before I cut the tape up and tossed it.
