> 3 dayAn exceptionally accessible worker placement game that is fun for two players. The visitor cards add a degree of uncertainty so unlike many euro games where the playing formula can predictable and almost rote-like, this one can throw a few interesting twists in gameplay. It may take a couple of playthroughs to finally feel comfortable with the choices and timing sequences but then the game will begin to show a good deal of depth and replay ability. The subject is represented so as to not be too abstract so you kind of feel the joy of actually making and building something. Player interaction is not vicious or aggressive other than the occasional blocking of opponents workers but even in this the system allows for other paths to accomplish tasks (enter visitor cards, and grande worker). Its one of our go-to games. We play Italian music while we play. It sets a nice tone.

> 3 dayI waited awhile to purchase this game but Im so glad I did. This is a beautiful game, a worker placement that really makes you feel like youre making wine! The summer and winter cards really help you get ahead and achieve more than one action on your turn. Ive played a couple times with three players and we all enjoyed the experience. This is my new favorite worker placement, my old favorite was Lords of waterdeep.

> 3 dayI can’t recommend this game enough. The development and execution of the wine-making theme is so well done. The amount of options and interactivity sometimes limiting those options elevates the experience and requires strategy shifts throughout.

Greater than one weekprobably one of the best games I own. Takes a minute to teach and learn but it has so much depth

> 3 dayThis became a family favorite immediately. Very fun but also laid back, easy to learn, and allows strategizing for those interested.

> 3 dayThis is a very solid medium-weight euro-game, with worker placement. The board role selection is tight enough to feel tension, but there are enough options that you can always do productive stuff. Honestly there is a bit too much luck involved to be a perfect game, but its no more swing-y than other popular games.

16-06-2025Super fun, definitely better for adults with lots of board game experience (we only play it with our friends that play board games frequent, definitely doesn’t come with us to large family gatherings)
