I love these high-quality gorgeous blank cards. You can make your own cards inserting any photo or design on the front. I will buy them again!

Great to use with watercolor. If you use wet-on-wet technique, it might be advisable to tape the card. It holds well for various watercolor techniques. I have ordered additional packs to create my own cards.

I really like the product. In my view there is nothing like sending out a hand made card for just about any reason. This product makes it easy. I like to tape them down which gives you a nice border. The 140lb weight paper holds-up even wet on wet. Line and wash is also great with this grade of paper. Hey I can mess up a card and cut a replacement or use Hot press paper if needed and having a envolope the correct size is great. I use them often Im just learning but you done need a masterpiece to put a smile on someones face with an original hand painted card. I love this product and will be thinking about Christmas cards soon. Im having fun and this product meets my needs.

This year I am painting Christmas cards for family and friends. I love the painting surface, it is very easy to paint to on. There was very very minimal buckling (I taped the corners down after painting background), but they did dry flat. I am very impressed. I have a feeling I will be painting cards for all kinds of occasions now.

Did I get a bad batch or are these not the same cards as the ten per box product (105-150)? Ive been using Strathmores 10-set for a year and they were satisfactory. I got the results from watercolors that I expected. So... I bought this 100-box set to save money and to have more on hand. I also use their watercolor postcards. However.... These are not holding water properly. I hope you can see that in the attached picture. In that photo I was preparing to do a wet-on-wet wash. I applied one pass of water from a squirrel blend brush and within seconds the card had warped and buckled. What gives? Several have done this and not all were wet on wet. And these are textured which is to be expected from cold press papers. But, man, these are like painting on a golf ball! Im just thinking this is a bad run of cards that I received. Maybe I should return them. What do you think? Has this been your experience? P.S. To deal with the warping, after the card is dry I mist the back of the card, turn it face down on a paper towel and place a book on it. Thats working for now. But I had to try because it was unpresentable otherwise. Also, I want to say these envelopes are heavier, nicer than the ten card set (105-150).

This is a great stack of textured postcards. I know its meant for watercolor painting but I sketch places ive been and then go over my sketches with a sharpie before sending them. The paper is thick enough that the ink doesnt bleed through, and theyre fun to send personalized post cards to people! Not to mention, the paper is more of an off-white, cream color instead of bright white, giving it a more antiquated look. These are fun, and a great price for how many you get in a stack (:

Ive always used Strathmore Watercolor Greeting Cards and enjoy them. This time I needed a larger amount than usual so I ordered these. Even though theyre for watercolors they can be used with mixed media. Ive been using this brand of blank greeting cards since the 90s and they havent let me down yet.

Excellent quality, tooth, and thickness. Works well with gouache with no bleedthrough. One side has a standard cold press texture and the other is slightly laid. Both sides take pen and ink well with minimal bleeding. If youre thinking about blanks to make cards with get this set. I liked mine so much that I bought a second set.
