> 3 dayIm a graphic designer working mostly in print (rather than web) so I have always been interested in papers...selecting the right paper is a big part of my job. Anyway, love these high quality cards. I use them to mount my own 4x6 photos on the front with photo corners or double sided sticky tape. I sign them in small writing underneath. People love getting them so much that sometimes I see that they have the whole card framed. AND, the card is sturdy enough to stand up on its own (tent-style). I highly recommend these! Love the deckle-edge, its a very elegant touch!

Greater than one weekI use these cards over medium weight tear away stabilizer to embroider occasion-specific designs on personalized greeting cards. They work beautifully on digitized designs in my Solaris embroidery sewing machine. A titanium-coated needle works best as writing through paper can dull needles.

> 3 dayI needed to print some of my photos onto stationery cards. The older stationery that I printed on in past years has yellowed over time, and I was cautious about ordering cheap blank cards / envelopes out of fear they wouldnt be durable, would yellow gradually, or wouldnt take the ink properly. After much searching I discovered the Strathmore cards on Amazon and ordered them because they were acid-free and the reviews were outstanding. When the blank cards arrived I was a bit concerned about being able to print on them because of the rough, ripped edge on the front cover, and also by the rough-ish fabric-like texture of the card stock, but my fears were unfounded - I was very pleased with the results, notably by the brilliance of the colors that came out on the cards from my inexpensive ink jet printer. I like the brightness / purity of the white of the cards and envelopes, and I think the quality of the product relative to the price makes this an easy choice. If/when I need to print out more stationery cards Ill definitely be buying this product again.

> 3 dayWatercolors, even very wet washes, work very well on them. Not as good quality as my Arches watercolor paper, but not bad. They will accept some scrubbing, but fibers lift and make lifted passages look a bit muddy. However, if you get in and get out without to much overworking, theyre fine. The 100% rag, cold pressed surface is nice to work on, and having them all cut and scored for folding is really handy.

> 3 dayIm sure–or I hope–its somewhere on the description, but these are textured on both sides. I personally am not a fan of writing on textured paper, so Ive yet to actually use these as stationery (their intended purpose). The actual cardstock seems pretty sturdy and of good quality.
