> 24 hourChoice narrowed down to this or the Duro 30-Day. Purchased thie Siege and at the next camping trip, a buddy brought his brand new Duro 30 Day. The Siege light is better built, more solid and durable, but heavier. The hooks on the Siege (on top, a metal carabiner and and a rubber-coated metal ledge hook, plus a metal carabiner on the bottom) will last, while I can see Duro hooks (one plastic on top and bottom)) on the Duro breaking readily. The Duro is a little brighter at high, a little dimmer at low. The Siege has two red modes; solid and SOS. The Siege has a frosted outer globe, while the Duro has a faceted clear lens. Hanging from under a tent/tarp The Siege is waterproof while the 30 Day isnt. After the side-by-side, I prefer the Siege. One note: my lantern arrived is a padded envelope, but no box or any other packaging. Glad its durable, but wish Amazon would package them better.

> 24 hourRed and white light - very versatile! Im an amateur astronomer and was looking for a red lantern for doing astronomy nights and outreach events. The red is pretty bright, almost too bright, but a very nice deep red. Bonus, once you switch it to red mode (by pressing & holding the on/off button), it will stay in red mode until you long-press again, so you dont have to cycle through red and white to turn it off. Perfect! Also, it has multiple ways to hang it - shorter hooks on the top and bottom, and a long handle on the top that folds down when not in use.

> 24 hourOur neighborhood had a 4 hour power outage a few nights ago. Mind you we live where hurricanes come and go and we hardly ever get power outages. But this was weird. A four hour power outage out of nowhere like that? We felt so hopeless. All the neighbors came out with their flash lights wondering what the heck is going on? End of the world? Murder hornets? Man, I felt hopeless. The only thing I had for a light during the outage was a little pocket sized micro streamlight flashlight. That little flash light stayed on during the whole outage. So Im getting prepared for the next one. So after countless reviews I decided to get this SIEGE and I can already tell it will brighten up the whole house during an outage. How long will the batteries last? IDK yet... but Ive always been a fan of streamlight anyways, for flashlights and other tactical options. Jeffrey Epstein didnt kill himself. I also will be buying a power bank and a radio for my next purchase. So Ill be looking at reviews for those kinda items. BE PREPARED!

> 24 hourGreat lantern! I used it on a recent camping trip. It provided plenty of light even on lowest setting. Like all Streamlight products that I have used over the years this thing is very well made and built to take abuse and keep on working. I own this lantern, plus the AA version of this lantern. They both made the camping trip much more enjoyable in the dark.

> 24 hourAn absolute fantastic purchase! I had researched several different lanterns to purchase as I plan on taking it camping. My reason for going with this lantern was due to the other great reviews people were submitting but also because I have purchased other Streamlight products and have always been happy with their quality. The 3 different brightness modes are great and give off more than enough light! The option of having the red light feature is also a bonus! One thing I was surprised about was the handle. I was thinking it was going to be a flimsy piece of plastic but it actually has a coating on it and gives it kind of a sandpaper-like texture to it thereby giving it some extra grip to it when holding it by the handle. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality and sturdy lantern!
