SYLVANIA Wifi Smart Plug, Voice Control, Compatible with Alexa and Google Home, Timer, On/Off, White - 4 Pack (75703)

I was able to get these to work, however it took some doing. To be honest, I think that its probably great for Alexa, but I dont know that I can recommend them for Google.

I bought these for my step dad for Christmas, he LOVES them. He used them for the Christmas lights, tree lights, and lamps.

It don’t work and too much to try and get it

This product would not connect to my WiFi network. I followed the instructions for set up and all the trouble shooting guides, but these didn’t work at all. No problems with other smart devices on my network except for these plugs.

This has become the default charger for all the things in my household. Easily charges my MacBook Air w/ 60w capacity. It also works great for phones/watch/etc and gives you enough ports for 1 person traveling. It has plenty of power in a small package.

Easy to set up and all 4 worked great for about 11 months. Then one just stopped working and wouldn’t pair up.. Now a 2nd one has quit.??

I ordered these for another location, and they function like most WiFi smart plugs. You can turn anything plugged into them on/off in the phone app, or via Alexa or Google Home if the infrastructure stays linked after setup. So far, these are doing better than Lightify and similarly to the TuYa smart plugs. Amazingly, I can use two of these in the same dual gang outlet. At about 30USD for a four pack, they may not be the cheapest out there, but if they work during internet outages with the app, then they must be worth it. I am rating these four stars. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

I like that these smart plugs are easy to sync using the sylvania app, and they work with alexa. I dislike that that they dont work with the Smart Life app. But not all smart things do, and Sylvania has a reputation for reliable, long lasting components. The sylvania app also has no sketchy permissions requirement (correct me if Im wrong), unlike other chinese smart apps. So I am ok paying a bit more for reputable, reliable, quality smart plugs.

Work well once I got them to connect. Bought a 4 pack so I could use 2 and hook up 2 for my Mom. They were temperamental and frustrating but once I got them to connect they worked great.

These worked fine for about 6 months... specifically up until exactly 7 days after the product support window closed, then all 4 quit working the same day. Its obviously a Sylvania server problem, but never had that problem with my other off brand... and thats the last time I consider a brand name over something else.
