I use this packing tape to ship heavy 40-50lb items, in cardboard boxes. It sticks to anything with very little pressure. And for the 3.2mil thickness you cannot beat it for the price. It also does not have an unpleasant odor, like some packing tapes do. TAPE KING for the win!

As far as functionality, it fulfills it’s intended purpose pretty well. That said, this tape is Very Loud/Noisy. If it were being used in a production environment where noise was expected, this wouldn’t be an issue. However, I operate an online store and fulfill orders from my home (often late at night) and this tape is so loud that it would wake up others on the opposite side of my home. It does have an odor as others have said, but personally, that doesn’t bother me. If you are sensitive to smells though, it may or may not be an issue for you. I had previously been using Duck Brand EZ Start Tape but decided to look for a cheaper alternative due to its high price per roll. However, it looks like I’m going back to that one for now. If noise isn’t an issue for you though, this tape has a great price per roll and I’m sure will work just fine for you.

I purchased the 12 pack, using these rolls of tape for moving boxes. I would say these are not as thick & tough as they advertise, better off with the Duck Brand Extra Thick, much better tape. Using these since I have them, but will not buy again.

Best not to get the cheap tape that folds on itself when trying to use it. This one is a bit thicker and much easier to use. Not a whole lot more in price than the cheaper packing tape.

This tape can be annoying but I find it to be the best value. It is loud when applying. This is unfortunate if we want to use while having clients in the store. It does stick well but doesnt stick imediatly. Once thorughly pressed down it adhears well. When using a dispenser it doesnt always imediatly grab onto the surface.

This tape is really excellent. I used it to ship on all different types of cardboard boxes. The adhesion is really outstanding on the boxes and to itself. It is also very strong and tear resistant. I had to start the tear with scissors. You will not be disappointed. 3M packing tape has always been my go-to packing tape. Lately, the 3M/Scotch rolls have failed to properly adhere to packages. Disappointed in the 3M/Scotch brand, I tried these rolls and they are really outstanding. Finally, a tape I can count on!

We have a direct sales business and ship all over the world. Even searching high and low for a tow that likes to stick to boxes, and have basically given up. HOWEVER, this is the tape I will buy from now on. It’s by far the best for boxes and shipping, stays pretty well, and it’s actually pretty tacky. It’s easy to find the end if you lose it on the roll, and comes up easy. We ship over 100 packages easy each week, and this is WELL WORTH THE COST. I’ve tried super expensive brands, and cheap ones. I can’t begin to tell you how many different brands of tape I’ve tried, but they’ve got it right when they call themselves Tape King. We’ll definitely be buying this again!
