Thule Load Straps for Roof Mount Racks

> 3 dayBefore I purchased the Thule straps, I was dealing with the general straps with those hooks (I dont know exactly what they are called). The hooks wouldnt fit all the way around my racks, so I was always nervous if they would stay attached. Then I found these Thule straps. I love them!! They are more than plenty long and once fastened, they stay tight. Due to the size of my little kayak and my little car, I can go around the rack twice (yea little!). They are expensive compared to those hook things you can buy at Walmart, but once you have these, you will throw those others away! All you do is wrap them around your racks and your boat, fasten them and then tie the surplus cord into a knot so it doesnt bang against your car. The other thing I learned was to tie a knot (lose) in the free end when taking the straps off - this prevents the cover from coming off and having to scrounge for it under your car, or, worse, someone elses car! Good luck, paddle on.

> 3 dayLove them. Easy to use and they work well. I HATE rachet straps and screw them up all the time. These straps are a no brainer, thats what I need. I bought the extra set for my Thule Stacker 830 for the other side and Im very glad I did.

> 3 dayI do not think I have ever written a product review but I have been using these straps for years and they are hands down the best straps for just about anything. I prefer the 9 foot ones as they go perfectly over a kayak without too much extra to tie down. Really reliable, easy to use straps

> 3 dayThese are great. A bit expensive, but they work well and they keep my car safe from scratches from the metal buckle. Theyre easy to adjust and sturdy. I use them to strap 2 kayaks to the roof of my 2016 subaru outback.

> 3 dayThe Thule straps work well for holding things onto the roof rack that you dont want flying off at road speeds - 2x4s, Christmas trees, surfboards, etc. The rubber bumpers for the latches are a nice touch and help protect the paint
