I change the filter once a month and I have to throw out the black part which is fine because in this package it comes with the filer and the black thing that you have to put around the motor. I would purchase them again because its made for the specific water fountain.

This is easy to clean since it is stainless steel. It is not too noisy. We are pleased with this product. And the animals like it. I much prefer the stainless to plastic because it is easy to keep clean.

Absolutely love this brand of filter and love that the new cat water bowl uses these because they are decently priced and you get several of them. Easy to replace and last a while! No noise at all!

They do what they are supposed to. Honestly I hate having to buy additional stuff to keep something correctly but that is what I signed up for when I purchased the water fountain. You do have to pre-soak the white filter in water for 5 min. Before putting it in the fountain. Other than that they are very easy to put in for your fountain. They catch hair & filter water...exactly like they are supposed to.

There is nothing I wouldn’t do for my cat, Sam! But I have to say, these filters make my life so much easier. Sam loves his water fountain and I love the replacement filters. They are so quick and easy.
