> 24 hourIts plenty strong enough to raise and lower 100-200 lb loads. The wire is not too big to fit into pulleys that are designed for 250-300 lb weights. If you are going to use this, tho, you DO need to get a wire rope tool (similar to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JW4X4TO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and a bag of aluminum crimps similar to ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QJ9FK9C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

> 24 hourI used this wire to create a spiderweb shaped trellis support, along with some cable railing ends. Shiny, easy to work with. Has only been in the weather for a few months but so far still looking great.

> 24 hourI used the cable to make a DIY wire rail system on a small deck. It’s been 3 months and has held up well. No rust or corrosion of any kind so far. I will be redoing my main deck next and will be buying more. I bought 1/8” cable because I wasn’t sure about the quality and if it would hold up under a lot of stress, but it was better than expected and I could have definitely gone with 1/16” to make the cable system even less visible and still have strong railing
