The cable out of the box looks like it has good quality. Smooth and shiny. Definitely great value for the money. I use this type of cable to hang stuff in the garage and maximum tension on the cable is probably not even 100lbs so not quite sure about the advertised strength but it looks sturdy.

This product was perfect for my purposes, that is making mainstays for a small boat. The product is very strong and has little stretch. As far as I can tell, it is fully rust resistant. The only cons are that it is difficult to cut and it will fray a little bit if you dont put some form of end crimp fitting on it.
