This kit is truly an excellent value, as it comes with various colors perfect for creating vibrant and eye-catching tie-dye designs. The quality of the dye powder is impressive, as it produces rich and saturated colors on the fabric. One of the unique techniques I tried with this kit was ice dying, and it was an absolute blast! I placed my rubberband-tied t-shirts at the bottom of a bin, covered them with ice, and sprinkled the dye powder on top. As the ice melted, the colors spread and blended beautifully, creating stunning and unique shirt patterns. The result was a mesmerizing display of colors that looked like a work of art!

This was the first kit like this we ever used, but my just teen figured it out after reading instructions and maybe a YouTube for technique. Her shirts are great, 2 best shown out of 6 we made. I made one out of leftover dyes and it’s halfway cool too. This was a lot of fun at a reasonable price, recommend.

Making tie dye t-shirts is a highlight of our camping trip in the summer. Everyone can participate, and the “unveiling” of the shirt when it’s rinsed is a lot of fun. It’s a mess, but we plan for that, and the kids proudly wear their shirts that they made afterwards. It’s hard for the kids to wait until the next day to unwrap the shirts because they have to sit for 12 hours or so but it adds to the anticipation

Im pretty sure a year ago Walmart had these same kits for $10. But of course I cant find them there now. So based off Amazon options, this was a good buy for the money. I purchased this for my daughters birthday party and the kit was used on 10 youth size shirts. The bottles were empty by the end of the day. Now admittedly the kids were allowed free reign and most just squirted swirls on the shirts. But I imagine projects would have to be strictly monitored and regulated for efficiency and size of you wanted to get 36 projects out of it. Maybe 36 hats or socks? I did appreciate the ease of use. Powder is in the bottles, just add water and shake. Dipping would need additional containers, but squirting turned out some fun designs. Kit comes with cheap rubber bands and 1 size fits all cheap gloves. A little disappointed that the webpage says the dyes lose their vibrancy after being mixed with water and sitting for a while. It turned out not to be an issue since they were all used up. But if I actually had leftover, it wouldve been nice to be able to store it for another day. But may thats too much to ask for the price. Overall, met my needs and was a huge hit at the party.

This is such a great kit. We chose this for the activity at my daughters 7th birthday. Easy to set up, great color choices. My only regret is not knowing how many bottles to fill for the 10 kids making shirts. We filled all but six bottles, and had a ton left over that went to waste. I would recommend filling one of each color only and then if you run out fill up more. The upside is we do have some left over for another activity, but we would have probably had enough to do it two more times had we not used so much initially. Would buy again!

The gloes did not help, the dye still went through but it lots of fun an the kids love doing their shirts.

We took this kit and cotton t-shirts to have a crafting extravaganza with our Grandchildren over the Christmas Holiday! It was a big hit! The kids ages 4 -8 really enjoyed being creative with all the fun colors offered in this kit! And then loved showing off their wonderful creations as they wore their shirts!

This has been one of my favorite hobbies for as long as I can remember. Not only is it incredibly therapeutic but it definitely helps ease anxiety and can keep me busy for hours. I introduced it to my son and now he loves it just as much as me! I’ve been getting this same kit for YEARS and this was so upsetting when we tried mixing our yellow. It began to leak everywhere and when I picked up the bottle I noticed that eraser sized hole in it :( not a huge deal but definitely not happy with it. Still a good thing to do with and without the kids!

For the price this is one of the best tie dye kits I’ve used! Tons of fun colors, rubber bands and gloves for a group! Plenty of dye for multiple items and step by step instructions of how to fold to get your desired pattern.
