> 3 dayFirst the positive info: The variety of colors in this pack are awesome. We had some really beautiful shirts come out of our group activity. Everybody was please with the colors. Also, I don’t think tie-dye can get much easier than using squirt bottles to apply the color. Very easy to use for a group of kids ranging from 6th to 12 grade. The only problem was estimating how much I would need for a group. This was my first year as the craft organizer at a youth group camp. I knew tie-dye shirts are a staple activity that the students LOVE to do. Tulip brand one-step dye was used in the past so I just decided to go with it this year too. I did a lot of research before hand to make good use of our funds and still have enough for all the kids. I decided to go with these bundles because they were $15.85 each at the time I purchased. I was a little bit surprised by how small the bottles were, though, and I was nervous upon seeing them that we woudn’t have enough. I read several questions regarding the Tulip dyes and it seemed like one bottle per person on average was recommended. I can tell you that is NOT the case for the bottles in this pack. Between five packs I had 90 bottles. We were only able to do 66 shirts and on those last shirts we were literally going through every bottle to use every last drop of dye we could. We had to turn a few kids away because we didn’t have enough dye. Now I understand the situation was a result more of my planning and not because of the product, however, I did find it hard to figure out how much I needed ahead of time (even with all the research I did). I would say for this pack plan on at least an average of 1.5 bottles per shirt. So if you bought one kit, you might get twelve adult size sm-large shirts done. You might even want to be safe and plan on only 10 shirts out of this pack. I hope that helps anyone in the future.

Greater than one weekI really wanted to love this set. And to be clear, my 9 year old daughter DID love it. My main complaint is that the dye bottles leak. They leak at the screw topped closure for the bottle and 3 were actually cracked at the neck and as such, leaked even more than the others. Because they were leaking, we tried not to shake them too much when mixing the dye powder and water because it was making a huge mess. I think there were large chunks of unmixed dye in some of the colors and you can see that in the end result. However. My kid had a blast and it doesnt notice at all. So still a win

> 3 dayI absolutely loved this tie dye kit! It is so fun and easy to use. I made a couple shirts with my niece who was only 4 years old. It basically comes with everything that you need and can make a lot. We only used 3 bottles and we were able to make 6 shirts! it has great instructions as well.

Greater than one weekMaking tie dye t-shirts is a highlight of our camping trip in the summer. Everyone can participate, and the “unveiling” of the shirt when it’s rinsed is a lot of fun. It’s a mess, but we plan for that, and the kids proudly wear their shirts that they made afterwards. It’s hard for the kids to wait until the next day to unwrap the shirts because they have to sit for 12 hours or so but it adds to the anticipation

> 3 dayThese did the job, but we didn’t really like how runny the ink was after the water was added. It made it kind of a mess and hard to control where the color went. Also could have used more rubber bands since this is supposed to be good for a ton of projects. Great for the price, but not my favorite tie dye kit I’ve ever bought. Still a fun project!

> 3 dayThis worked great we got 4 kids shirts and two adult shirt made and I think we have 4 random bottles of dye left! We probably would have had more left over but we wanted to make sure the shirts were covered in color so we probably over saturated them.

10-06-2025my father recently passed so to lift our spirits my mother, sister, and I had a “tie dye party” and bought two of these kits and it was great! the colors are INCREDIBLE!! There is such a wife variety and they are so fun and vibrant! Even after washing they look great! The product is super easy to use just rubberband your tie dye item of choice then fill the color dispenser with some water and shake and tie dye!! Super fun activity for all ages! I’ll have to buy some more!
