> 24 hourNot happy with it even i like the ubiquity. Programming is very difficult and requires software download and register it under email and password, which is not practical because if other technician comes to do adjustments can not log to it and AP needs to be reseted to factory settings. I had issue with one jib site where AP of different brand burned up and I had ubiquity left from other job so instead of going to buy new one I try to use AP by ubiquity I couldnt make it work as many times I tried to reset it the software wouldnt see AP( I took brand new one out of box and I was able to set it with network, but every time my phone or any device connected to AP I got email connected/ disconnected very anoing I had to go back to programming and find in interface how to disable this notifications, not easy if you dont install this every day. Signal is solid AP works but not user friendly for people who are not computer wiz.

> 24 hourThis requires secondary devices to setup. You cannot set it up with the mobile app, you cannot set it up with a browser. You MUST have a separate dedicated AP-pro to talk to them just to set it up.... The software is not user friendly (maybe it is if youve bought into all their other devices...) But I had a ubiquiti router and this product alone will cause me to not buy anything else from them... After 3 hours and finding other people who had the same issues, my trashcan wont be empty tonight..

> 24 hourI was told this equipment is well designed and robust. I was also told that beginners should stay away, as the interface and user experience during set up leave a lot to be desired. Boy, was that an understatement. I have very experienced IT guys on my staff, and I myself have been an engineer for decades. Im not going to give you the laundry list of things that are going wrong with this system, but the most hilarious one is that the system keeps asking me to change my password, only to then refuse to recognize the password the very next day, and then, of course, wont allow me to re-set the password at all. We are now totally locked out.... This is just one of many administration issues with these units. The fact that the units are robust once set up is all well and good, but if a team of IT guys cant set the stuff up, its useless. Stay away, stay very far away....

> 24 hourMuch smaller than the previous outdoor access points yet so much faster. It comes with adapters to use the existing mounting hardware from older outdoor APs so its very easy to swap them out.

> 24 hourI love Ubiquiti products. If you know how to set them up, they just work. This is an upgrade from the Nano units we have been using for bridging, mostly because the Nanos are on 10/100 base and these have gig cards. The throughput is faster overall. They work indoor and outdoor, and we install these units all over the place.

> 24 hourSuper frustrating setup process which had to be repeated 3-4 times until it finally came online. Once I got my IP cameras connected to it, it worked only some of the time. This AP would be unavailable for 2 days at a time and then just mysteriously start working for a few hours. Updating the firmware just made the controller software unable to find the unit anymore. Id been rebooting it daily or twice daily to get it to work again for a few hours. I decided to live with the almost daily loss of AP signal, but then yesterday it died completely and would not come back online after cycling the power.

> 24 houri know this is a outdoors unit but i could not get more then 10 feet away from the unit before my signal dropped. i use Unifi all the time but i have never linked this unit. it works for what you need it for but it does not have very good range on it. but the speeds if you are in range are good. with in the high 120-200 max. but if you have never installed Unifi routers and AP i do not recommend them. they do require a little bit of tech savvy know how. or you will need to hire someone to install them for you.

> 24 hourI have this wirelessly uplinked to an AP AC Pro (15 meters); the signal is stable and the coverage is more than sufficient when signal strength is set to high, it even manages to partly cover my driveway and front garden while being mounted to a candle holder indoors. I once switched it for a FlexHD, but didn’t get a wireless uplink signal strength that is decent, and ended up hooking the AC M up again and moving the FlexHD somewhere else.

> 24 hourNot the greatest looking access points, but they work very well. Combined with the Ubiquiti Unifi SD-LAN you have a great combo.
