UPPAbaby VISTA PiggyBack Ride-Along Board

> 24 hourWhile I enjoy the versatility this board lends to the vista it does have some drawbacks. I wouldnt use it as a substitute for a double stroller or if a true triple stroller is needed. Children of different ages can use it but it seems best for older two year olds who tend to stay put and not run off up to early five year olds. Younger than two and the child would likely be more comfortable and have a better view in a seat while keeping the parent from worrying about them running off. Older than 4-5 and they would be so big and heavy that the stroller would be difficult to push.

> 24 hourFirst issue is that while walking I keep “kicking” the board, so that means I need to distance my self from the stroller in awkward position(even with the handles fully extended). For reference I am 5’5 (165cm) tall.

> 24 hourThis is a really good product, if your ready to spend this kind of money. its small, doesnt weigh allot. doesnt get in the way when bumping up your stroller (as other similar products). easy to push up and down - when using or not using.

> 24 hourOur daughter loves riding the piggy back but it does make for an awkward walk. Would be better if the handle bar could be extend even further. Also quite expensive for what you get

> 24 hourOur toddler walks independently about 99% of the time (we weren’t even using the stroller before baby #2 arrived). But now that baby is here, we’re back to toting around the stroller. Having the ability to hop on and off when a rest is needed has been SO great! Plus there’s major cool factor with a skateboard. I do wish the Vista handlebars extended further for extra room but I’ve quickly gotten used to shortening my stride (I’m 5’9”) when the board is down. We also purchased the rumble seat when we bought our Vista and, in hindsight, I totally regret buying it! (This is a different review - but Rumble is a major hassle to attach and is really uncomfortable for any child over 32” to sit in, even with the added extension clips for the top seat. It makes steering difficult and older kiddos will quickly outgrow the weight limit. We’ve used it once and I won’t ever use it again.)

> 24 hourI had a 2014 model vista with the older version of the piggyback board, and it worked great, my son loved riding on that thing. When I replaced my vista with their newest model this year, i also purchased this piggyback board, thinking that it would work just as well as the older version. But it DOES NOT. The new design does not extend the handle bar far enough, so I end up kicking the board as I am pushing my stroller. In fact I almost flipped my stroller over with my infant in the bassinet while going down a hill because I stepped on the board. I ended up pushing the stroller from the side while I have the board down. Not safe and not convenient. For a 800 dollar stroller, youd think that the design team would try their product out before mass production. When I called the Uppababy customer service, they told me that theyve never heard this complaint before (how is that possible, I am seeing this same exact issue right here on Amazon), and while on the phone with me, she tested the stroller she had in her office. and was surprised to observe that in fact this problem does exist. But she was sorry to inform me that there was nothing to be done about it. I would not recommend buying this product unless you get a older version of the vista with the piggback board.

> 24 hourThis items performs as advertised. My kids love it. It’s easy for the 4 year old to hop on and off. It handles the uneven terrain of urban living with little difficulty. It’s easy to put on.
