I bought as a Christmas fit for my husband. It was not well made enough for a gift. I did keep give it to him for his art class and he is using it but....the handle was installed crookedly and looks cheap. I have no idea if it was be dudrable. It appears to be solid. It works well for the purpose of storing pencils and other tools for pencil drawing and is taken to art class weekly. A good price for a wooden box...if it holds up.

I bought this to put my ink bottles and brushes. Its simple, beautiful and looks sturdy.

Very pleased for the price! I sanded, stained, polyurethaned, and also glued felt on the inside. It looks like a $100 toolbox now. Has lots of storage for my reloading supplies.

After searching through many higher priced and mostly plastic boxes for my sewing goods, thread, scissors, needles, etc. I found this item to be one of the best available for size, construction and price.

Poorly put together. The edges of the box arent even cut straight and there are gaps in the lid. Theres wear marks for no reason since it came in its own box. Very disappointed in the quality of this, returning.

Really nice looking, I like most of the box, but it’s like the bottom isn’t glued on well enough. I’ve had it for a few weeks, barely move the box around but the bottom is coming off. The slice of wood that serves as the bottom is super thin… I don’t recommend this box, especially if you have expensive supplies. I don’t want to risk loosing $250 worth of soft pastels to the ground, so I support bottom when I carry. Going to try to some more wood glue, but I have a feeling the box may just not be sturdy enough to hold supplies

I was looking for a box to keep shoe polish etc in. There are a lot of boxes designed for shoe polish - but they tend to be very expensive and often have a thing on top that youre supposed to put your shoe on. I was looking for something that would fit in my bedside table. This fits the bill! I put a few coats of polyurethane on it and it now makes a handy holder for polish, brushes, rags, etc.
