This is just the right size and light weight for my short handle watercolor brushes and very handy to carry in small bag as I paint in the field. Watercolor brushes typically have shorter handles than those for oil paints. This wouldnt work for the longer oil painting brushes.

Nicely holds most paint brushes, both long and short handled. Fits nicely in backpack.

Holds all my paint brushes and pallete knives perfectly.

To me it seems well made and easy to use
