I used these to store grains for home brewing beer, and they held up to 10 full lbs! Have a rubber seal and should work perfectly, great quality for the price.

This is the second one I have purchased and it works great to keep cat food kibble fresh and easy to access.

I was using a container that held 10 lbs of dehydrated dog food on kitchen counter. I ordered this 5 lb. container and it takes up less vertical space on the kitchen counter under the cabinets. It is much less conspicuous yet still in a location that is convenient for feeding.

These are perfect for holding my cat and dog food! They were able to fit 7 lb of food (maybe a little less it wasnt used like 5 times before putting it in). You can also stack them on top of each other if you need to make room!

This is perfect for a 5 lb bag of dry cat food. It seals tight and keeps the food safe from my cat getting into it.
