By rolling garments before placing them in the travel bag, I was able to carry my bag onboard, thereby bypassing potential horror stories related to missing/lost luggage. This worked on the way to Central America, but not so on the return trip home. Nonetheless, my Vera Bradley bag held up under the stress of baggage handling and connecting flights. Finally, the bag was easy to spot on the baggage claim carousel.

Greater than one weekIt seems to be well made and I love the fabric, it just is a little longer than I expected. I have not had the opportunity to use it yet but I think it will work just fine.

Greater than one weekI have a VB weekender bag, but found that I was always bringing another bag for sweatshirts or shoes on “up north” weekends where summer nights can be cool. I traveled to the north shore of Lake Superior last weekend and found this size could carry everything I needed for the weekend. I probably would not use it as a carryon for airplane travel, but it’s great for the car.
