Vera Bradley Womens Cotton Weekender Travel Bag

I love the pattern and straps associated! This is a great bag for a weekend trip or lugging through the airport. This bag has several pockets on the inside to help you organize and separate and is surprisingly large on the inside. I was able to fit 2 pairs of shoes, bathroom accessories (makeup, products, hair stuff, etc), and 3 changes of clothes. I also use it transport food or goodies when I bring them into work.

What wife wanted to pack things for trips. She likes its looks and room for what she wants to bring.

I bought this for my daughters 18th birthday gift & filled it full of fun stuff. Its a great size & the color is beautiful!! Im ordering me one too!

I have used this Vera weekender bag several times for travel on weekends and even 5-6 days. It holds everything I need. This bag also comes with has a luggage strap. I love the plaid design and the cotton softness. I also bought the matching cosmetic bag.

I wanted to like this bag when it arrived. I loved that it had structure and a sleeve to slip the bag securely on my carry-on rolling suitcase. When I tried to put the handles on my shoulder or the carry strap across my body, or just carry the handles with my hand, it seemed really awkward. I returned it simply for this fact and decided to keep a different style bag.

Was looking for an attractive carry-on bag with a contrasting inner lining. This was as close as I could find that met that criteria. I chose Vera Bradley as I have had a number of V.B. bags over the last 20 years and have always been happy with each one, no matter the style or fabric choice. This bag will be useful for travel with its roomy interior and detachable shoulder strap, along with shorter handles. But I am so disappointed with the outer fabric as the design has a faded appearance. This pattern does not have the bright colors all of my other V.B. bags have had. This pattern is pretty enough but it is dull and drab even though the pattern is complicated and busy. I compared this fabric to another V.B. bag that is several years old and this newer bag appears to have been washed repeatedly and the colors dim and worn. It seems the company has cut costs in materials now and unless the new fabrics are better quality and have the former brightness I will not feel the higher cost of these bags worth paying anymore.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my sister. She would usually pack her weekend clothes in a grocery bag. I have a similar one I bought years ago and love it. Lots of pockets and is perfect for short trips. Vera Bradley bags are very well made and hold up well. If you are on the fence about this bag, I would say “go for it!”

I was looking for a good bag since I take a lot of weekend trips and this really was the one for me. Its cute, it can fit so much, the material is nice and the straps make it easy to carry around. Really good!

Think material and good quality. I got the bright pink and the color was perfect! I needed a mid sized duffle bag to carry on while traveling. It fit perfectly on top of my suitcase with the luggage sleeve! Lots of pockets inside for organizing but I do wish there was a laptop pocket inside.
