The Wall Nanny works wonders with my pressure mounted baby gate! Easy to install; rectangular shape allows for mounting horizontally or vertically, depending on the size of the doorway/opening placing a gate. I am going to purchase another set for an additional gate install.

In the past I always had to use screws to attach my pet gates to the wall as pressure wasnt ever enough. Now, as I moved to a rental I didnt want to break the wall so I tried a pressure gate once more and, as expected it didnt stay in place. So I looked for options and found Wall Nanny. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try - and I am glad I did! It did solve my problem and keeps my gate in place! Really good!

I wish I had known about these sooner! Not only does it protect our walls and paint, it makes our gates SO MUCH sturdier and secure. We have two boys, one of whom is a “super” toddler. Super smart and super strong. He learned he could push on the gates and before Wall Nanny, they’d slide a bit and the gate would open right up. Now they don’t budge at all! Even just using two for the tops of the gates has made a HUGE difference. No more escapes! I’ve already told multiple parents this is a must have. I chose this Wall Nanny to secure the new gate as much as possible. Because of the structure of my walls having wood trim at the base, I attached the long Wall Nanny, otherwise I could not secure the gate at the wood trim (built in 1978). Furthermore, I am only using the gate for keeping my wild puppy from running speed circles around through the kitchen and living room, preventing me from catching him and retrieving my belongings from his mouth! Definitely, the setup I have with the wood trim is not secure enough for children, as it can easily be bumped out of position. Thankfully, my puppy hasnt even tried to jump up onto it or lean into it, so it is staying in place beautifully.

This wall mount makes it safe, steady, and affordable. Don’t get your baby gate with out it, you will not regret. ♥️
