In the past I always had to use screws to attach my pet gates to the wall as pressure wasnt ever enough. Now, as I moved to a rental I didnt want to break the wall so I tried a pressure gate once more and, as expected it didnt stay in place. So I looked for options and found Wall Nanny. Ive wanted a gate for the deck to keep my dogs contained, but the railing and posts are metal. Not wanting to drill holes in my new deck posts, I had to improvise which looked horrible. We have a very energetic puppy and we started out with just the gates but after realizing that the wall was at risk of getting damaged and the puppy was able to take them down as he got stronger I ordered the nannies. They not only protected our walls but they make the gates stronger because they are less apt to shift when he pushes against them. Saved my house and my sanity.

We recently got a new puppy and needed to put up a gate to keep him confined to the family room. The wall nanny works perfectly in conjunction with the gate. I bought these to stabilize a baby gate I bought to keep dogs out of an area. The gate itself was giving me problems and not stay in place very well - all the dogs had to do was put minimal effort and they would knock the gate over. I used Wall Nanny, and it was like magic.
