> 3 dayI have installed Webroot for a hundred customers. No one who has it on their PC has had any real malware problems, nor has had a problem with it screwing up anything.

Greater than one weekWorks good easy install quick scans. I have used All the different Antivirus software and like this one because it Truly stays up to date. Never a button to click to update definitions because it is Cloud based. I do recommend manually scanning you hard drive, which takes more time. Just go into settings and find your hard drive, right click on it and the choose Scan with WebRoot. I use Windows 10, it works very well but still use windows malicious software removal tool which can be downloaded for free. * Also go under Settings, Access Control ,make a password and also check off the First 4 Boxs and the Last Box on this page. Will prevent Webroot from being tampered with and being shut off, which hackers do all the time.

> 3 dayThis is a great antivirus program which is fast and does not consume resources as do other antivirus programs. However, there is one major caveat, Webroot can not be configured to automatically scan hard drive partitions. It only scans the partition where your OS is located, which is usually the C drive. If you are like me, I have my HD divided into many drive partitions. I have four partitions: C-F. You can manually scan each partition, but what a hassle. For a paid antivirus program, this is unacceptable IMHO.

> 3 dayINSTALLED THIS YESTERDAY ON NEW LAPTOP AND BY FAR, IT WAS THE EASIEST INSTALLATION OF ANY ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE I HAVE EVER HAD - AND I HAVE BOUGHT A LOT OF DIFFERENT BRANDS OVER THE PAST TWENTY YEARS. GOOD PRICE FOR 3 DEVICES AND IS DOING THE JOB OF MUCH PRICER BRANDS THAT CAN BE A BEAR TO INSTALL. THE NEW LAPTOP DID COME WITH MCAFEE ALREADY ON IT, SO I UNINSTALLED IT IMMEDIATELY SO AS NOT TO HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLING THE WEBROOT. WEBROOT, AFTER JUST A FEW MODIFICATIONS, JUST SITS QUIETLY IN THE BACKGROUND WITHOUT THE CONSTANT INTERRUPTIONS THAT MOST OTHERS SEEM TO HAVE THE HABIT OF DOING THESE DAYS. DID NOT EVEN HAVE ANY MORNING STARTUP UGLY MESSAGES TO START THE DAY WITH AS WITH THE OTHERS. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND WILL BUY AGAIN WHEN EXPIRATION TIME COMES AROUND.

> 3 dayNever needed tech support. I uninstalled the last one, then installed the new one. Ive been using WEBROOT for several years now. Never understood why the CD (physical) version is cheaper than the (download) Renewal version. Same program, same features. For me, If you can wait to get the CD, youll save money.

> 3 dayWhen I went to install Webroot it accepted my security key then stopped at scan your computer with the error that it could not connect to the internet. I am wired to the internet and was connected fine. When I went to back out of install it installed anyhow with a broken version. It said that it was an invalid copy. I sent a message to Support. Later decided to uninstall it and try again. It was not listed in Control Panels Programs list. Nor did it have an Uninstall option from the Start Menu. I had to Goggle it and search. There is a line command that you have to type in from the Run command to uninstall. I will stop going on about the details. Here is part of the reply I received from Webroots Customer Service today: Unfortunately, we were unable to locate your account data using the information you have provided. We are more than happy to assist you, but are going to need more information to do so. If you would please provide us with any of the following information, this should enable us to locate your account. 1. The registered name on the account 2. Current and/or previous email addresses you may have used with Webroot. 3. The keycode associated with your Webroot software. 4. The invoice number associated with your Webroot purchase. 5. The last 4 digits of the credit card used for purchase. 6. The date and amount charged, as shown on your billing statement. 7. The WBR number located near the barcode on the box or on your receipt. What the... ? They seem to be accusing me of stealing their software After going hours with out any virus protection and being inconvenienced with their buggy software they want all this information just to advise me? I was happy when I saw the message from them thinking I was going to get help. Then find out they expect me to jump through hoops to get this help. This is the first bad review I have written. Before if I didnt have anything good to say I just didnt leave a review at all. I always try to give Vendors the benefit of a doubt In conclusion I did try to install four different times more. Install continued to fail giving assorted error messages. Finally it spontaneously worked like a charm and I do have Webroot installed and working now.

> 3 dayI only gave 4 stars because setup was very easy and price was quite good in comparison to other antivirus software, but seem to have to reset settings every time I turn on computer. I have purchased this before and did not have any issues. Would buy again.
