This will save your wrists and speed up polishing the copper tubing but be ready to make some field fixes. The inside brush always breaks off even if Im spinning with spiral running the drill below 1000 RPM. You might get it to last longer if you can avoid having the drill clutch kick in. Eventually the entire brush assembly will break off the shaft, a pipe clamp fixes this.

This is a great product idea that can save your elbows wrists and shoulders(specially if you are older). Some reviewers claimed it breaks and so in order to prevent it, I layered the weak area, close to the 1/4 shaft, with J&B plastic Weld(shiny part in the pictures). I believe this extra reinforcement will get it to last longer and maybe not break. Good idea made better.

the product is a good idea and time saver however its poorly made the 1/2 is working thus far as intended but the 3/4 didnt even last an hour before breaking the outside wont spin having broken on first use moment it was inserted to clean the pipe.

This tool works well to clean copper inside and out--all in one tool. Also, it helps reduce wear on your joints from repetitive stress. I havent used it long enough to discuss longevity, but its similar to other manual brushes we all use and replace periodically for best results. As far as instructions, there arent any. So to clean inside fittings, make sure the narrow brush is extended just as pictured on Amazon. To clean outside pipe (or street fittings), pull the narrow brush all the way through the drum brush inside the red plastic. This exposes the round, drum brush inside. You should NOT be running the brush inside the pipe (or street fitting) while attempting to clean the outside. This is wrong. You need to draw the brush into the red plastic part and through the drum brush entirely then clean the outside of a pipe or street fitting. Conclusively, you dont just leave the tool as pictured and merely clean inside and outside. You need to make an adjustment depending on inside or outside.

This tool is not for professional use. I’ve purchased several of these devices twice and I’ve encountered the same problems on both occasions. The plastic housing is extremely brittle and breaks quite easily with repeated use. The device is very useful when it’s new but it’s build quality is a massive let down. As a plumber who relies heavily on my tools to complete my projects as efficiently as possible, I am not exaggerating when I say that this device has almost cost me money due to its failure at the most inopportune times. I will not be purchasing this tool again and I would advice others to be mindful of its shortcomings before purchasing it for themselves.

I can clean all the copper and fittings before the other guy can do just one...... This is a real time saver for Contractors.....gosh...no reason not to clean those old fitting before you braze/solder anymore right???

it broke on the second use, the plastic cracked, so I would not recommend this tool.

Part looked to be good quality, but wrong size was sent to me. I received the 3/4 brush size and not the 1/2 that was listed.

The Turbo Tube Brushing Tool is two brushes in one, so fittings and copper tubing can be easily cleaned without changing tools.
