These are crappy bulbs that do not last, The box they came in were very generic, did not have a brand on them and the bulbs actually say Ascher. I didnt think this was much of an issue until i went to try to get replacements for two that have already died in 6 months.

Brightness

My home is more than 60 years old, so Im taking every measure to improve energy efficiency that I can. LED bulbs were recently recommended to me as a way to improve the overall lighting while reducing both energy use and the heat generated by incandescent bulbs. I was a little skeptical ... I tried CFL bulbs some years back and didnt like them at all. But I ordered these to try, and Im glad I did. The light is bright and clear, truly white with no yellow overtones at all. The bulbs look nice in my ceiling fan fixture, and the frosted surface means I can look up without blinding myself. They definitely dont throw off heat the way the incandescent bulbs did, and I dont get the low-level hum or slight flicker of the CFL bulbs. Its too soon to tell how long they will last, but Im told that this type bulb lasts significantly longer than incandescent, and the quality appears to be high, so Im certain they will fulfill expectations in that area as well.

I need my bulbs BRIGHT. I hate warm yellow lights except for night stands, living room lamps, or outdoor garage lights. Everywhere else where I need to SEE, I LOVE a bright daylight bulb. These work well in 2 of my bedroom fan ceiling lights and also a bathroom fixture I have. The price is great and if you are unsure what this is, it is bright and white. Warm lights, IMO, belong in the lamps in the same room so depending on what you are doing, you can then have a choice as to the type of light you need.

I received the package today, attempted to plug them in and NONE of them worked! Obviously I will be returning them

By the right color temp I mean the guide is junk. Get warm and it will be white but not headache inducing. It’s not my idea of warm but if you get daylight or higher with these I know I’d regret it. I went with the warmth color 1 less than daylight and it’s bright white but not insane white thank goodness. My FIL got insane white and it’s too sterile of a color temp for me. Better for autopsy room, not so good for bathroom.

Purchased these as a replacement for our Halogen G9s. While not heatless, they give off much less heat than halogens and are easier to handle. Out of the first 5 bulbs I installed, one flickers which I had to remove and replace from the remaining inventory. Hopefully the remaining 4 bulbs work fine. There was a note in the shipping on how to contact the seller to let them know but unfortunately I did not keep the info. Lesson learned.
