> 3 dayThis is one of the best gouache paints I have used. Very high pigmentation, so easy to mix with other colors. Id buy this again.

> 3 dayBase colors to get: Lemon Yellow, Ultramarine, Bengal Rose, White, Black. Bengal Rose is a really pretty deep pink that you can make redder with a bit of yellow. Spectrum Red is the worst red. Should call it Red Muck. Im sad I got that for my red at first as it couldnt blend with my blue properly. Ill just use it for highlights/blends with warmer colors. Pthalo Blue is okay, but I think Ultramarine is the better basic blue. Pthalo Blue has some green in it that mutes reds. Makes a nice green with a bit of yellow, though. Primary red is also very nice (good purple with Ultramarine). By the way, great gouache :)

> 3 dayJust started using Gouache white for ocean scenes. It really puts a pop of white onto waves and breaking surf. Because of the density of the paint, you can put it on last and dot bits of foam in the air of the breaking waves. The color is dense if you use it with little or no water. You can water it down a bit but it remains more opaque than other non-gouache water colors. I love using Windsor & Newton paints. The quality is evident in the finished product.
