Overall, we really like this hammock! Pros: well priced, feels well built and sturdy, comes with tree straps and carabiners, easy to set up, comfortable, fits 2 adults. Cons: the straps felt shorter and had less adjustments that other brands we tried, and didnt feel as sturdy, the hammock material seemed to stretch more than anticipated, and made getting the adjustments of how taught/high to set the straps a little difficult. Wish the carabiners were the wire type, like other hammocks use. For context, this is our 3rd hammock. We have a teton single person hammock which we love, and had a ENO doublenest (which we returned for this hammock). The Wise owl hammock feels very comparable to the ENO hammock. Both feel like high quality materials, but we found the wise owl to be softer and had more stretch to the materials, which made it slightly harder to set up, but was more comfortable when used. We really like that this hammock came with tree straps, but to be honest, we will likely we replacing them, as when we set up this hammock, the straps didnt feel as secure as other straps we used, and one of them actually began to slip down the tree slightly. We also found they had very few adjustment loops, so finding 2 trees the perfect distance apart took longer than usual. And again, we like that the hammock came with carabiners, but we wish they were the wire gated style that our other hammocks use; which just feel higher quality compared to the Wise Owl ones.

I am writing my review sitting in this hammock! I was skeptical about buying this at first because I wanted a good hammock to use when I go to college in the mountains this fall. I wasnt about to spend so much money on an ENO, and I was going to buy a bear butt but they are constantly sold out. I found this one on here and figured Id give it a go since theres no risk. And let me say, this thing is so comfortable. I could have definitely fell asleep in it if I let myself. I was a little worried about hanging it up because Im 18 year old girl who is pretty small and thought I wouldnt be able to do it by myself, but I did! I had to look at a video becuase I was slightly confused about the straps, but its so easy. I hung this on my pecan tree and had about 3 loops left, and on a small pole that is hanging up a swing in my yard. I was worried it wouldnt fit around the tree since its so big and would fall off the pole since its so small, but it worked perfect! I was scared at first because it was adjusting as I sat down in it, but Ive been in it for a few hours now and am as snug as a bug in a rug. I dont think it can get better than this, so dont worry about buying big name brands! This hammock is awesome! I cant say how well it fits two people, but based on how well I fit, I would definitely say it fits two nicely. I can wrap the thing around myself laying down, and stretch out sitting and be touching the hammock from head to toe, if that makes sense. I am 53 though so this thing is plenty big enough. I included a picture to show. Buy this thing! I will update if anything goes south.

First off, I am not an avid camper, and I have zero experience with hammocks, so take this review in that light! If you really need technical details, there are plenty of reviews which is part of the reason I bought this! Were going on a camping trip soon in the woods, and I figured a hammock might be fun to have. So that was the only reason for this purchase. - Was happy to learn that Wise Owl Outfitters is a USA company, even if the hammock itself is manufactured in China. Im sure this keeps the price down considerably, but at least part of my purchase was supporting a domestic product. - This is an incredibly compact and lightweight hammock! Well, not that I have much comparison. And if you really dont need the heavy duty carabiners, you could make it even more light weight. But it stuffs into its included stuff sac really well, making it easy to pack! And its awesome that the stuff sac is attached to the hammock itself. - The carabiners are tough! Heavy duty and very securely attached to each end of the hammock. I was also very pleased to find two 6, heavy duty ropes with various holes to adjust your span across trees. I hadnt even reasearched what ropes were included, and two 6 ones seemed generous but very handy! - Easy install! We tested this out in our backyard and had it up in minutes! - Well made hammock! The parachute material seems very tough, but is very soft. The seams are triple-stitched. Im an average-sized adult and was quite comfy. I could easily nap in it! I felt supported and cozy. - Con: Cocoon-like for a child (see pic). I found that as an adult, it didnt cocoon around me so much (at least not uncomfortably, but my 8 yr old was definitely cocooned inside. However, he liked it that way, so not sure if its a con or just a comment! LOL - My understanding is that this is significantly less expensive than some other brand. I have no knowledge of that. However, for a fun camping or backyard hammock, I found this well-made, high-quality, and inexpensive!

It’s so nice and holds a lot of weight . I’m Only 120 pounds but my husband go in with me and it was so comfortable! Highly recommend this for any occasion!

I am not super outdoorsy and was scared of putting up a hammock all on my own. But this thing is fail proof. Very simple to put up in under 2 min. Sturdy and kept us up all day at the beach/park

Bought this for my husband, we live in an apartment and we put it in our balcony, we use it all the time and our toddler, my husband and me all get on the hammock, fun and sturdy.
