I got this for my new 1 torque wrench that requires a half-inch air line. The hose is as high quality as any I own, it did not kink during use, and it looks to be a very durable unit that will serve this purpose quite well The hose fueled the big impact quite well. My one problem is that my compressor isnt big enough to keep up with heavy use, so I need to take a break after every dozen or so ugga-duggas. Finally, for some reason, I did not receive the package of extra connections and fittings that the other reviewers showed in their reviews. Odd.

I like this hose. Although the material seems durable I think it’s more suited to home or in-shop use. I don’t think it would hold up to outside, commercial duty, like a roofing crew. I could be wrong. Time will tell. Stretched out it doesn’t kink. The manufacturer supplied fittings for both one quarter and three eights. Teflon tape is included. It’s a nice hose.

Needed a second and different color heavy duty 3/8 hose for my water separator. This one works well and is really heavy duty.

This hose is a half inch diameter rubber hose. I looks and feels good. The couplers are 3/8” but they give you pieces for ¼”. It is pretty easy to switch them out if needed. I like the larger hose diameter for more air flow. I am still not a fan of the polyurethane air hoses so this is just right. 50’ is a good length for close in work. I will use this to connect to a hose reel with 100’ of hose on it. The price of copper or steel these days makes this a great way to run air line from the compressor to the hose reel. When prices of metal come down, I will replace this with something permanent and add the to my 100’ hose for a little more reach. This particular hose is priced a little high compared to the same hoses sold by other sellers. That does not take anything away from the hose but it might make you look around. Understanding you can get the same thing for less, I recommend this hose for the quality and accessories.

Quality is generally lacking in air hoses however the manufacturer has gone all out on this hose extension with high quality connectors, solid clamping to the hose and a somewhat flexible plastic sheath covering about 2 of hose and 2 with the crimp to the hose. It is very different from an inexpensive hose and I would think that in a garage setting with heavy use this would way out last a plain hose with connectors on it. The covering of the end of the hose and the crimp looks as if it would survive being run over or other mishaps that occur in shops frequently and so a user should expect a fairly long life from it

First – this 6’ whip hose has 3/8” quick couplers. Be aware that most home systems are ¼” couplers. Yotoo is making a real effort to produce competitive air products. I have several air compressors and use them to both run a fossil prep lab and to do occasional mechanical work. I never seem to have enough short hoses, and the ones I have tend to be stiffer than I would like. This one got my attention because the description emphasized quality of the hose material, and it did not disappoint. It is very flexible. It is light for a ½” hose. So, it is perfect as a lead in to a three headed splitter that I have 3 light duty tools attached to. I do not know whether the connectors are actually brass, but it is a bonus to have them included with the hose – and they are solidly installed with integral kink protection. The hose ends are standard brass pipe threads.

This is an industrial strength air hose! It is used in larger sized, usually commercial, air supply systems. So it is not going to be compatible with the typical 3/8 inch diameter hose fittings. It can be useful as an intermediate between an air source and a retractable hose reel for instance. That is the application I chose it for. The YOTOO Lead-In 1/2 Inch by Six Foot Air Hose is very well-made and should last a long time without worries! Both ends are encased in kink-proof and abrasion resistant strain reliefs. The fittings are well-made and function flawlessly. Very Impressed!

I used this on my 60 gallon 240v compressor. Mine is the 1/2 version going from 1/2 tank to 1/2 filters & regulators for optimal flow. From there, I do step it down to 3/8 hose. But my main concern was having no restrictions to and through the filters. Its firm but flexible enough for the short run. The bend restrictors are nice, even though this piece in my air setup stays put. Good quality fittings and hose, and good price.

I like that this product is well made and quality materials. It says right on the item that it is for 300psi max. I checked the ends and connected and reconnected the fittings many times and had zero issues.

The way they shipped this is was kinked but came out easily and holds air well. No concerns for a lead in hose.
