Does exactly what I wanted. Easy access and keeps turtles in, allowing natural sunlight in for good health, & keeps kids/dogs/wildlife OUT (as well as leaf debris, etc). If used like this outside (on a glass tank), however, you must have it where it will STAY in shade or your pets will overheat & suffer until they die. Even though it is a screen, it still traps a lot of heat. Overall, for me, this is just what I needed. Good product.

Item came in very damaged..started a return but couldn’t find another for the same price..others were more expensive so decided to keep..husband bent it back into shape the best he could..serves its purpose I suppose..keeps the cats out!!

One side arrived dented from shipping. Otherwise the hinge feature is great. Utilize with heavy duty cage locks.

This cover was used for our 55 gallon fish tank since we were unable to find an actual tank top to fit the deminsions. The hing allowed the back part to rest on top of the filters and still able to protect the fish from the curious cats. Very sturdy product and cleans up well each month.

This is a nice lid. Havent had it long so dont know how it holds out in long term use. The shipping packaging sucks tho. They stuffed it between card board and wrapped tape around the sides so it wouldnt fall out. There is no protection other then the cardboard. It can easily be smashed in shipping. I got lucky and mine wasnt.

Soooooo annoyed, cover came COMPLETELY bent in multiple places, not even something I could bend back and use, and there’s multiple holes in the screen. The box it came in was perfect, not a dent on it, so they definitely shipped it damaged, wtf?!

I like how you dont have to left the whole top off the aquarium. knowing my snake cannot escape also a plus. put the heat lamp on top and you are good to go.
