Bulb is longer than spiral type

I bought this product for a RES hatchling That was pawned off to my from my sister (nephew won it at a carnival). After a lot (and I mean a lot) of research I ordered this bulb after being recommended it. I saw the reviews but I’ve never owned a reptile. I’ve never bought a bulb like this. I though people were being dramatic. They weren’t. This was my karma. I received the bulb and immediately put it into the lamp. It was dull. I was confused but thought “hey. Maybe I just can’t see the rays” (I’m blonde so we are just gonna leave that mindset alone). After two or three days I called ZooMed. Just to see if I was stupid or if the bulb had came damaged like so many other reviews had stated they had. I also jumped to calling ZooMed because the amount of reviews stating they had received a replacement from Amazon and it was also broken. The lady I spoke to when I called was amazing! She asked for screenshots of my Amazon order with the date, item, address, and my name. I did not know these zoomed bulbs come with a year warranty. Did you? She sent me a replacement for free. And it was also broken. The lady had said that if there was something wrong with it to call her back, but that would’ve been my THIRD bulb. I ended up biting the bullet and went to LPS and bought the thrive brand. That one worked right off the bat.

Works great, and does its job.

defective. Product died after three days of use. Disappointed

Nice compact design, good coverage for our Iguanas cage. He is about 17 yrs old and he perks up when the light is on.

Bulb had popped out of box during shipping but still arrived undamaged, bulb works as advertised still glowing after 3 months of constant use

I have this on my Red-ear Sliders tank and it works great so far. It does not put out a whole lot of light which is great because my Red-ear Sliders tank is in my bedroom. My turtle spends hours under this every day so I am assuming he/she likes it. I would recommend this to other turtle owners.

I bought this light bulb for my turtle soon as i put it over his basking area he loves it . I love it i`ll order another one when i need it. IT`S GREAT!
