2-in-One Drip Irrigation Tubing Hole Punch & Fitting Insertion Tool - for Easier 1/4 Inch Fitting & Emitter Insertion

After struggling with the tool provided with another product, this tool made puncturing tubing much easier. Im glad I purchased it. As for the insertion function, I couldnt make it work.

I love this tool! Soooo much better than the one came with the irrigation kit. Easy to use, punctures easily through the 1/2 pipe.

It was very hard for me to use even when I let the hose warm in the sun. Not for older folks that are weaker.

Makes the job easier

Very sharp and will easily put a hole in the tubing with little effort. If you are not careful it can poke a hole through the other side. Connectors pop in easily and their are no leaks where tubbing was connected.

I suggest you heat the tubes first. I carefully used a lighter. Cant understand why someone cant make a better mousetrap for this type of tool.

I wanted to upgrade my sprinklers for my flower bed on my new home. Installing a drip system is not rocket science so I bought this tool to assist in puncturing the hole in the main line. I use tools for a living so I can normally figure out how a tool functions and get it to work. Puncturing the line was not a problem, but when it came time to use the insertion part on the back of the tool the fitting kept slipping out. Maybe I was doing something wrong but after many attempts I just used my hands and force to do the job. There are other tools on the market for a little more money and if I attempt this again I will invest in a tool that is better for getting the fittings connected easier.

Dont buy this... you couldnt GIVE me one. Rainbird has one that is somewhat better.
