> 3 dayMy husband works in a factory and his feet sweat because of his steel toed boots, so his shoes are stinky and wet by the end of the day. He throws maybe half a dozen of the packets in his shoes every night and voila! No smell come morning

> 3 dayI bought the 50 pack of 5 gram packets in 2015. I have been carrying them to various humid tropical locations to keep my underwater camera housing from fogging up. Thats the easy part, since its a small space. My concern was whether the packets would stay good over time. I put the package (an older version with clear plastic on one side and silvered plastic on the other) in a freezer Ziploc bag for an extra layer of protection. Even after opening the package nearly 50 times (each opening lets in a little humid air) the packets are working perfectly nearly 3 years later. Im ordering more today because the few paper packets I have left are starting to wear through and spill their beads. This is NOT a criticism of their durability - they have spent months in luggage, backpacks, and duffel bags on planes, trains, automobiles, and boats.

> 3 daySeems to work well. I have used these for zip up containers for my fuzzy cozy winter clothing. So far do good. Also packages are very strong, so we had been buy large containers of praline pecans the humidity was making them stale before we could eat all of them so I got the bright idea to put a packet in the pecans and the stayed fresh through the last one eaten. Now I need more of the pralines!

> 3 dayAfter fan drying on a screen for a couple days, I throw 1 or 2 of these desiccant packets in a mason jar with my mushrooms - they come out cracker dry when opened. Perfect for short term or long term storage of your fruits. The packaging is discrete and the bag they come in is resealable, so you can simply use them as you need them. Exactly what I was looking for.

> 3 dayI use these to keep the humidity correct for acoustic guitars. And I measure/monitor the guitar’s humidity in its case. The first batch of these I used were amazing, 2 packets could keep a guitar around 45%-50% humidity for weeks. The recent bag I received barely keeps them below 54% when I use 6 packets. And requires constant changing of old silica packets for new. I’m happy to change my review if the company wants to make this right.

10-06-2025Bought these to put in my ammo cans to keep everything dry. So far so good. I live in Florida where humidity is high, especially during hurricane season when power goes out and everything gets damp. So, these should help keep everything dry.

> 3 dayIn short: it works and keeps bread fresh. No more mold. Buy this product. I ran across this product while searching for reasons my bread gets moldy so quickly. I’ve wasted so much money on bread that I needed a solution. I’ve tried storing bread in a kitchen drawer, pantry and breadbox. Storing bread in the fridge extended the shelf life but the bread was dried out AND soggy in spots. Weird. With this product, my bread has stayed FRESH on the counter for over a week so far. One packet placed in a 24oz loaf solved the problem. The product description states you can reuse the packets but I don’t think I’ll do that. It seems odd to reuse a product that absorbs food moisture. Very happy with this purchase!
